One suggestion, it would be cool to have a little line of text in the video when you switch to the in-car footage, just stating who it is and what they are driving…it’s hard to tell sometimes. Something along the lines of “Leo, turbo pro R RZR” in the bottom corner.

I’m so jealous. I’m a truck driver and I spent all last week driving past the exit for silver lake and I so badly wanted to stop and go rent a buggy in the dunes. My own sand rail is way too far from running, and Silver lake is a 5 hour drive from home. But I’m up there for work all the time. Literally a mile or two from the State Park.

I love my XMAXX. It's my favorite basher. Put a Hobbywing MAX 6 or MAX 5 ESC and the speed gears and it will be 15+ mph faster. That's 170 dollar upgrade, the Best upgrade on the XMAXX. The second best upgrade is the ARRMA Kraton Back flip wheels and tires and M2C Racing Hex extenders. It will make it wider and handle better with those tires offroad and they can handle the speed without blowing out. Of course, use paddles in the sand.

Your X-Maxx seems slow cause the ESC is in standard mode, if you look in the manual it'll tell you to hold down the power button and count so many blinks for each mode. All Traxxas models have this. I own a X-Maxx myself and had the same issue then I changed the setting on the ESC to full power and it could be the type of battery you got, you want a higher C burst rating to go with it. Just some friendly tips. I own multiple multiple RC vehicles and most of them are Traxxas lol
