I'm 63 and it doesn't make sense not to continue stacking even as the price continues to rise...it's a savings account in my eyes...because it keeps me from getting to my money right away which gives me time to figure out whether it's a want or a need???...and I only buy what I need...with age came discipline...like stacking it's an act of discipline...and since I have been stacking silver...I've saved more of my wealth than ever before...and the security it brings knowing...I'm my own bank once again...like it was when I was a kid and we used real money...smiles

I started stacking this year. I really have no idea if it's a great idea, a mediocre idea, or a bad idea, but I do know is just feels right to do it. It makes sense in my mind to have it. Especially a decent amount of constitutional silver. Worst case scenario, I just sell it back for close to the same money I purchased it for and turn it back into fiat money. I doubt for me at least that will ever happen...

I disagree. I'd make sure 1st. 1 months worth of non-perishable food and water. 2nd. 1 months worth of rent and bill money(cash, not precious metals). 3rd. Start a stack after you have food, and water set aside.

Yep diversify your investment portfolio with some gold trackers and some actual physical gold is always a wise thing to do. The physical metal is supposed to be "the last line of defense" IMO, for when the government decides to freeze your digital funds or when the banking system or internet goes down.

My dad has been preaching that doomsday is imminent since 1999 when he started preparing for Y2K. 25 years later he is still saying the same thing. He is now in his 70s, so I doubt it will happen in his lifetime, probably not in mine, either. My mom invested in stocks for her retirement and has over 3/4 million. My dad in precious metals unfortunately has only about 90k, and the money they each put in was virtually equivalent. I am just putting this out there. I actually collect pre 1933 gold, so I am happy if precious metals increase in value.

I have been, and will continue to stack gold and silver. If not for my future at the very least for my children’s future. Precious metals have always been more reliable in my opinion than stocks and now crypto. My advice is to stack what you can and make a monthly budget for it. It’s rare that I ever sell anything but if I do I always sell smaller weights to buy larger weight to make room.

I have halted investment into 401k.......I sure wish I could transfer it into gold......Sure, I get 4% match from work......but considering the fact that the dollar is worth 50% less that it was in 2020 (verify yourself with the CPI). 401k is growing at a dismal 4%......inflation rate is higher than that......Silver value has out performed the 401k by quite a bit. I trust physical FAR more than a bunch of 1s & 0s.

Along with the Fed rate, the price of gold is affected by inflation, purchases of gold by central banks for their reserves, and geopolitics. Each factor has its weight and, in my opinion, the most important is the purchase of gold by central banks.

I took my winnings in Vegas, and instead of a cocktail 🍸, I went to the GOLDEN NUGGET, IN THE REAR OF THE CASINO,And put my cash into the Gold machine and out plopped a nugget of gold out of a machine. Great channel love the vids. I personally prefer to buy 1/10oz gold rounds, but recently I found out that one of the local jewellers does 12months interest free credit on gold. Went and got 8x5g bars as that was the only bullion option they had. Still making payments on the interest free purchase and gold is already up at least 15%👌

Silver is the last thing to buy when in debt. Debt piles up way faster than silver will ever increase in value. Get an emergency cash of $1000 or so, then aggressively knock down debts, starting with the smallest ones first. After wiping out the last big debt, start piling up cash and buying metals. Oh yeah, disclaimer, I too, am not a financial advisor, but I've been through this and it worked for me. Your results may vary, consult your advisor, blah, blah, blah....

Depends on the type of debt. Bad debt with high interest rates like CC should be paid off first. Prioritizing metal stacking over lower interest debts like mortgage and student debt is fine IMO.

In many languages, silver is literally the name of money or coin. So having a bit of silver seems like a good idea to me. Remember what the good book teaches: the love of money is the root of ALL evil. So dont get sucked into the speculation of silver going to $300/oz or more... if that happens it will mean that a Big Mac costs $100. It is theoretically possible (but unlikely) to make lots of money trading over short term price swings, but most will end up losing money trying to get rich. Silver and gold offer a stable store of value over the LONG TERM. Buy small, affordable amounts regularly to preserve wealth. Keep some cash, make investments in quality stocks or index funds and diversify with real estate and businesses if you can. Still working on those last 2 (aside from my home).

It doesn't get worse and worse into infinity but maybe you covered it before. Penn Wharton did a solid budget model showing without cutting big sections of government spending there is 20 years maximum before the US government default is mathematically unavoidable. Without significant debt monitization which yes destroys the currency. Whoever comes out the other side of that with a stack will probably be glad they did.
