I found it interesting that the "winners" from 2019-2022 (Pugh, Seyfried, Dunst and Condon) were all first time nominees. Of course, Pugh should had also been nominated in the best actress category for Midsommar. Still, amazing performances from these four actresses!❤

Disagree with Maggie Gyllenhaal, she wasn't even nominated for BAFTA & Golden Globes in 2010. Anna Kendrick in Up in the Air should get the silver medal

and people thought (even Angela I'm afraid) Basett will win this...... Jamie Lee has surprised me as hell but Angela's win BP2 would have been the bigger joke..... Don't get me wrong, she already should have won for What's love got to do with it as the great Tina Turner but not for this performance..... Compare her acting to performances like Hugh's Wolverine...... ridiculous! Even Famke Janssen deserved more the Oscar nomination for X3 as Jean Grey.
