SHould be rushing that smite evolve early. Already 2-3 fights and no smite to use. Do it right the end of your first clear you should have it depending on your sub runes.

It's not that one is better than the other, it's just different and depends on matchups and team comps. Blue is taken when they have a lot of ranged squishies and u can stack urself quickly and oneshot people, while red is for more extended fights when enemy has a lot of tanks, bruisers and in general more sustain.

"I wanna give it a try". Do that in norms bro, not in ranked I've been spamming Swain since his mini rework. I have never played him in a ranked game (yet). I firmly believe you should never play a champ in ranked that is under mastery 4 on (unless forced through bans/picks, but when will that happen?)

I think that I can agree that yeah, you shouldn't be absolutely first timing a champion in ranked, but also grinding until mastery 4 in normals is way too extreme. Mastery already isn't a valuable measurement of skill, and the quality of normals swings between nearly-ranked like experiences to a duoed Yasuo support Garen ADC.

@@Iridescence mastery 4 isn't that many games in the scheme of things. And while you're right it doesn't show mastery on a champ, it's at least something that gives a person a fairly good sized amount of different scenarios to play that champ. Different matchups, from behind, in a snowballed game, coming back from a doomed game and etc. Plus mastery 4 is easily proven in the loading screen. If mastery 3 was easily proven I'd probably go with that one

You can also just view it in a more realistic type of way, if u wanna first time champs expect that to cost you some mmr/lp in the short term, its as if you're purchasing experience/skill for lp/mmr, playing it in normals is also cool but i wouldnt give a champ more than 10-20 games, that should be enough to play it in ranked

personally, i feel like early ff and maybe even ff in general should be removed or given requirements like with remake system. there are games that can be won if the team just tries, but because ff is there, the losers will go, "oh, games over. gg. go next. /ff" even if the game is completely winnable if people just try
