SILVER SANDS BEACH DUNCANS BAY 🇯🇲
Silver Sands Beach, located in northwestern part of Jamaica, is known as one of the most peaceful beaches on the island. It got its name from the very light sand that covers the edge of the shore, walking along the sea. This is the beach chosen by tourists who want to live in silence, enjoying privacy, but too far from the main resort center - Montego Bay. In addition to regular visitors, Silver Sands has long been popular among advanced windsurfers, which was facilitated by the weather conditions of the region.
The best way to get to the beach is by car. The first thing that amazes tourists at Silver Sands is a long, smooth strip of dazzling white sand and clear, transparent aquamarine water. From 3 sides, the coast is surrounded by picturesque, exotic plants and rocks. The entire western part of the beach is accessible to the public, which makes it convenient for those visitors who rent accommodation on the territory of Silver Sands Beach, not in villas and hotels adjacent to the beach, but a little further away.
Despite some distance from the main tourist center, Silver Sands is quite in demand. There are often many people here, especially in the morning hours. They swim, sunbathe, do water sports, organize picnic. A gentle slope, long shallow waters and clear sandy sea bottom in the Silver Sands area make this an ideal vacation not only for young people and loving couples, but also for families with children. As Silver Sands Beach is subject to strong winds, it is often chosen by windsurfers.

Yes, it is! Totally open to public. I was staying in Falmouth and took a van to reach this quiet but magical beach. I also met friendly locals on the beach who showed me around the local caves. i highly recommend visiting
