If you're gonna off road it on the regular, might I suggest taking it to a dealership, or any place that does the spray-in bed liners and have them spray the rocker panels. I did that with one of my previous trucks, and it kept them from getting scraped up and rusted.

It’s an excellent truck. But there was a bunch of things Chevy really should have thought about that are really a big deal. Here’s my list: bigger tires, it should be able to fit at least 35s stock, rock sliders, and smaller front bumper for extra clearance. It’s looks very good tho

Took my Rocky Ridge Silverado to the trails near cumberland gap a few weeks ago. 6" lift on 35"T X 12.5"W Ridge Grapplers wrapped on 20's (ugh, need to swap those for 18's or smaller for more sidewall). I was REALLY wishing I had a front locker and a selectable rear locker, but with offroad mode in L1 using 1 pedal driving the thing was a beast. I need to add rock sliders as well, high clearance front and rear bumpers, and a winch, then I think it could go pretty much anywhere.
@Kindaquick12 жыл бұрын
Thanks for showing how the ZR2 Silverado handles. Now that GM got rid of the g80 rear diff, I'd like to see if the new rear diff doesn't make horrible noises while doing donuts to the right.

COOL VIDEO! I just installed 295/70 R18 A/T tires (34.5") on my 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 (6.2L). Also bought some offset wheels (offset 1). This combo gives 0.9" more poke out (1.8 wider track) and more tire to work with. There was some minor rubbing which I fixed. I got Bilstein 5160 shocks in the rear...but, this truck really needs those Bilstein 5100 adjustable front struts (gives about 1.5" lift without screwing up the suspension and CV joint geometry). I had them on my last truck (2014 Silverado) and loved them...waaaay better shocks then those crap Ranchos. I think bigger tires and a level in the front (and rock sliders) will help you out without going too crazy on your new truck. These trucks are expensive, but can easily (with more money) be way more capable.

Why didn't you get the option with the rocksliders? Why do you always have a drop hitch hanging way out there? You don't air down the tires.it really seems like the more you try to make chevys look bad, the stupider you look. Why don't you get you're buddies with rapture and trx's and follow that beast. Won't do it even with larger tires. Also superchargers will heat up and break on trails like that b4 the day is over. Great job Chevy for building the best off-road truck out there.
