❤ thanks for this video. Generally Jase the comments show, for the most part, Australians care about all of you, and the series you give to us. We don't normally see such carnage, so it was a shock. Glad that the only thing damaged was a vehicle. May you all have a great 2024.

Well done Jase in putting this video out to explain so comprehensively what happened on that day. Any 4WD’er has had the sliding feeling and it’s not fun. I think you guys have shown how competent and respectful you are to the machinery and tracks of Australia and Jason you’re the one forking out the dollars to fund this awesome show and I think your response to the whole event from checking on Jesse to taking your time recovering is a prime example of cool level headed thinking that we should all look up to. And of course you always put people before machinery. Your attitude and respect of the Traditional Owners clearly show how much you value any person and their knowledge and skills. Glad Simon was there to crack a joke or two to the lift the spirits on the day. You can never discount a positive attitude. Looking forward to more unleashed and the next season.

I can't help but to add, he mentioned PJ in this coverage of the event. Should have just phoned him for a no go response. It poured rain the whole night after day one, the whole night whilst they camped, right beside the track it poured throughout the night, did that resonate in your mind? Question, why proceed with all that intelligence on hand? Recap, you were set up knowing the track would be mush, knowing you don't attempt it in wet, surely commonsense says stay put at camp. If it wasn't deemed suitable there is a dedicated camp location at the aboriginal elders site, they'd driven right past it, again, they'd been advised to stay put. Sorry Jase but you did set a poor example, you've prompted numerous cowboys to take it on against all advise, "Do Not Drive When Rain is Predicted" which you conceded on day one of episode one, rain was predicted. After criticising you decision I'm truly relieved your laughing about it now. Hang in for another season Jesse.

Even though Jess rolled the Chevy, you can't take away that it was a huge ask of him to drive two of the toughest tracks in Australia with limited off road experience. To be fair, nobody could of prevented that roll over in such a large vehicle. The track became a mud pit from Hell

The fact of it all,it wouldn't have mattered if Jesse hit the brakes or not you have the limiter, abs and other safety features. Like electric E brake. The left front probably busted the suspension on the left because that was the side that hit the bank first.

Reverse gear works on that track, I've done it. A local told us about jumping on the brakes to lock the wheels, find reverse give it some revs and get off the brake and clutch. Unbelievably pulled up to a dead stop. It got us through in the pouring rain. Probably can't be done in an auto. 34:23

The mercs and beamers blow a fuse when the airbags go off. The blown fuse will prevent you from starting the car after an accident and causing mechanical damage. This being said. Some cars have inertia switches which will activate if the car things you are going to crash. Car won't start until you reset the switch. ** The canopy might not look like it's bent. But if every thing else is vent on the big girl, I guarantee the canopy is also.. I wouldn't bid on it.. I would use the money on a hellcat crete engine.. 😂

Although my bush accident wasn't as bad as this one. it all happens so fast. We were in Kafue National Park, Zambia in the rains. I drive a Mitsubishi triton. We were in the ruts in very wet conditions, going down a slop the car jump the ruts up a small bank and I hit a small tree. Lost the intercooler, air con radiator and buggered the bonnet and the plastic stuff at the front. Unbelievable and that was 20kh. so I emapthise with your team. building experience in bush driving is important and having wel equipped rigs so you can get yourself out of the shit is needed. but 250k write off. As much as crashes at 10kmh make you feel red-faced, it is ultimately better than many alternatives. If he had hit the throttle and hit a tree at 50kmh, with a fully loaded vehicle, the carnage could have been life threatening. That would be the end to All 4 Adventure. Jesse's rollover allowed all the energy to be disappated over a longer period of time. I'm just so happy in that split second, Jesse let the truck do it's thing and didn't fight it.

in wet clay you need to spin the tires to clear them of mud to maintain any control whatsoever. Sure you need to be brave. If you look at the upside down truck, not only are the tyres caked, you can see where the locked wheels have accumulated a wedge of clay as they slid locked up down the hill. Not saying that I would have done any better.

So crash scene investigators are just a waste of time because they weren't there?

It's a bit of a sad World that you needed to, or at least felt you needed to, make this video in response to essentially a bunch of armchair warriors. But I totally get why you did. As an indication - my Wife, who's never done anything like what you do, but is a critical thinker and knows how to judge a person on their actions, just thought you (Jase) went into top notch problem solving mode as soon as you knew Jesse was OK and in no way did you do wrong in doing this trip - it was dry season, the forecast was good and all the points you made in this video were spot on.

Hindsight is 2020 looking back on accidents you always think of things you could of done but in the moment there are so many things going on you didn't expect and need to think about in seconds glad no one was hurt and you managed to successfully recover the vehicle

Considering some of the places you guys go I think you have had a good run with accidents! You could have chickened out , turned around and gone home with your tails between your legs and if you did I wouldn’t be watching your show any longer - may as well go watch one of those fake 4wd shows where they stay in caravan parks ! Keep up the great work guys !

Can’t believe some of the questions people have asked. Would’ve, could’ve , should’ve.

thats what pisses me off...so many hero's think they would have made better and more skillful decision in the 2.5 seconds before that thing was out of control

Yep, All the experts that have absolutely no idea unfortunately these guys are way out of their depth in most situations and they make yt videos "teaching the masses". He locked the brakes you can see it from the start it was all over from there, braking is not what you do in this situation

I don't think there's anything he could've done, welcome to off roading. Get back in the seat Jesse and enjoy your next adventure.
