Should do a before an after of how the truck looks with the tires as well!

We unfortunately didn’t receive the truck stock so that wasn’t an option

@@peaksuspension all good! Is there another piece for the rear that’s need to fully leveled? Also do 35s clear with no trimming? Is this compatible for the 1500 at4x?

Awesome work! the only thing that hurt me was having the jack touch bare metal to the disk break.
@peaksuspension9 ай бұрын
The jack was resting against the ball joint nut, not the brake disk

My sway bar is elevated & I cannot force it down. Ideas?

Just a question but do you offer ,a dust cover as some of us live in really bad climates -and thinking the ball joint exposed is vulnerable
@peaksuspension4 ай бұрын
We don't at this time. We do however have a lot of customers in rough climates who use PTFE Dry Lube to keep them clean and protected.

Can you fit 35s after the lift?

So the spacer does true level (and assume that doesn’t put the UVA at a bad angel)… how tall does the shock slacker and UCA get the truck in addition to the spacer?
@peaksuspension Жыл бұрын
There’s either level (top spacer only), 1/2” collar will add 2” over stock and the 3/4” collar will add 2.25” over stock. With our new rear blocks available, it’ll lift the back end to match the front 2.25” lift or allow a slight rake with the level kit or 2” kit

@@peaksuspensionw/ the 3/4” collar, any harm created with shorter travel of the shock or more constant tension on the spring?

So the UCA balljoint remains exposed like that?
@peaksuspension7 ай бұрын
Yes. It’s pretty normal for arms like this, it’s a uniball not a ball joint. As long as you keep it relatively clean and use PTFE lube every so often, it’s great. This way you can use a strong bolt and also have maximum articulation

And having to use a nylon tie strap to rehang a break line wasn't very thought out either. That's murder!
@peaksuspensionАй бұрын
There's not really another way to do so, nor is this unsafe. Thanks for your feedback however. There's some arms out there in the world. that don't even have provisions for zip ties and let it just hang

I don't want Squeaking because of those damn Derlin Bushings. 😢
@peaksuspension7 ай бұрын
Delrin bushings don’t squeak, that’s why we use them
@danielcastorena30577 ай бұрын
@peaksuspension9529 i have them in my old set up and here in a humid environment they squeak very much.
@peaksuspension7 ай бұрын
@@danielcastorena3057you might have polyurethane, Delrin doesn’t have a squeaking tendency but if is, you may need to torque the control arm bolts as well as grease the bushings
@artiemcbride629Ай бұрын
Spend all that money on uca's and zip tire your lines. I don't think so.
@peaksuspensionАй бұрын
Not really any other way around it. If we threaded holes into steel arms that’s a place for rust. Our billet arms will have threaded arms but tubular steel isn’t an option. Thanks for your great feedback though
@nicholas7103Ай бұрын
Why cut anything off? I'd rather pay for a better thought out kit before I destroy a $86,000.00 truck
@peaksuspensionАй бұрын
The only way to mount a control arm is to remove the droop stop. No way around it, and the only way to lift these trucks is to add control arms. You’re welcome to your opinion, but not many share it with you
