I subscribed BECAUSE of the Silverado ZR2! I just purchased my 21 Trail Boss Custom with the 6.2 when they finally announced the ZR2. It's not worth the huge cost from my truck to that. I love the new interior, but still not worth it. You should be able to remove the metal bracket behind the lower fender trim piece(mud flaps on all other Silverados) and zip tie the inner fender and back part of the close out back for more clearance. Seen others on several forums do this for clearance for 35's.

That's a design flaw if I ever seen one. Feel like an extended steering knuckle should be a thing at least, looking at this lol. IDK

Sorry to hear that you're not getting the views you've been hoping for, that's unfortunate. I have been watching your Silverado ZR2 stuff as I'm an owner and it's great seeing guys like yourself putting in all the hard work trying out every trick you can think of on a brand new truck with zero aftermarket support, but now here comes my real talk; are you going to actually go off road with the truck, or is this just mall crawler content? I bought mine because it's the most capable full-size truck for all types of 4 wheeling, not just desert running, and so far the only KZbinr who's dared to take theirs out to do what it was meant for is RFRacing. Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate all the content you've created, it's been super helpful and informative, but it'd be nice to see what the truck is actually capable of and doing what it was designed for.
@matt13ross2 жыл бұрын
The issue is, there's ONE off road park near me, same one RF goes to. I've been there with my Colorado and honestly, it was just okay. The trails are so tight and rocky it's not that much fun. I'd like some more open courses, and would absolutely love desert or beach off roading. That being said, I find modifying and building vehicles to be more fun to watch, and make. Plug, the off roading videos usually get even less views.

Yeah, the ZR2 doesn’t have to necessarily compete to win against the Raptor or RHO (RIP TRX), but it would be nice if it was actually a direct competitor, instead of a glorified off-road trim like the Trail Boss/Tremor/Rebel… The worst part is that the only thing they needed to do is add longer upper and lower control arms, which would make the stance wider. Throw in some 35” tires, some bigger fender flares, and boom, you have an actual “budget” Raptor/RHO. It’d still be the worst out of the 3, but at least it would be competition 😓

Dear followers!! Don't let the beautiful pictures confuse you . Anyone who buys a new car from GENERAL Motors the chance you threw your money into the trash is very large. In this company there is no customer service, the company's management does not care at all, if you have a problem or a malfunction, you can only pray to God there is a chance that the help will come faster. GM is a very dangerous company, be careful and keep your money safe.!!!Share so more people don't get screwed.GM is a big bluff

Dirt king over price tbh idk why they do it

All long travel stuff is expensive for sure. Kibbetech is probably double Dirt King.

You complain a lot about the Silverado ZR-2 but yet you bought it 🤦🏻♂️. Maybe you should’ve done your home work when you bought it or unless you bought knowing this and wanted it any how.

I wanted to try it anyway. Which I did, then sold it.

just get a damn lift kit
@matt13ross2 жыл бұрын
Not a lift kit fan. I don't like trucks lifted way up. I'd like to leave it the same level it is, but with long travel.

Do some donuts and put the truck to the test. Go off road and make videos
@matt13ross2 жыл бұрын
Most off road videos get less views than the build videos. Plus I don't have good off road places around me. I plan on it at some point though.
