You called it to be honest, an ideal system for one person. With he way the weather is heading woodland as opposed to camping in the hills sounds a good idea to me. Did I see 3 for £5, if that's the case dam good value for a good hearty meal, cheers Alan

Lovely settling mate and the food looked good. Look forward to your woodland videos. If you cooked a bit of lamb at home you could make a nice dish with spiced cous cous and some dried fruit. Apricots perhaps.

I've seen similar that have another bit that fits the bottom but if turned upside down it can be used as a fire stand. That'd be a great addition to this set. It's a really good size too that one.

That is a neat little system Gaz - should work well for the winter. I look forward to the recipes. I did wonder how much fuel you used to boil up that rice - rice takes an age usually. Thanks Mark mate , this was one of those bachelors quick boil rice packs, so it wasn't too bad, they work well for camping meals , I liked your meals you do with the tuna and dried veg , that would work well in this compact system too , I'm gonna try a few different meals with it , nice one Mark mate 👍atb

They are a coastal pine forest between Liverpool and southport, there is a red squirrel nature reserve nearby too , a really nice area and nice sandy beaches for miles , cheers mate 👍 atb
