The extreme temperature is pretty pointless I think because in an emergency you'd use a 1 season bag in Winter if you didn't have anything else , based on the reasoning 'something is better than nothing'.

@kevanhubbard9673 I think it confuses some people too in thinking the bag is warmer than it is, the extreme temp rating might keep you from freezing but it could be a long cold night, I only ever really look at comfort ratings now an even they can't be trusted completely, always best to get your own feel for the bag, thanks mate 👍atb

I have had a Vango Banshee for almost 14 years, The orange is neither here or there.. However the idea is to be able to use it as a signal device in an emergency. Waving it around on the side of a mountain is much easier to see for the rescue crew. Being bale to pitch the outers as an emergency shelter or even a lunch stop in our beautiful weather here in Wales.

Yeah I've had a lot of vangos over the years , I definitely prefer the ones without the orange inner , definitely useful in an emergency situation but not the most relaxing colour to sleep in. But definitely good value, I have the starav 200, not used that one yet , might do a review of it soon, thanks mate 👍 atb

👍 #31 Hi Gaz, looking at the wonderful church you slowed down on the carved oak chairs... I used to have a set of six Victorian oak carved backed chairs similar to those and an 1840s extending balllustrade oak dining table. I sold them most of my old antiques when I moved house, to help towards my next house. The pods are great and yours was in a really good position close to the water hole. I'd be putting the trail camera over that at night time for sure. (I bet you never got one lol). I love the inside and I'd be using one of the blow up mattresses you have shown in the past... heating and electric.... I'd take a pod over a tent if it were a fixed site, although you can't carry the pod up a hillside or into the woods etc. Around the 6:00 mark and onwards would be grat for raptors on a less windy day too. Interesting cave! Blimey! on 11:45 and *in that wind* I would not be able to stand freely close to the edge like that, lol... no way. A great video my friend thank you. 👍◕‿◕

@WildlifeBirdsUK thank you for watching and the nice comment, I do have a trail cam now , only a budget one , I hope to try it on a camp this year , the Pods were nice and warm , nice having the radiator and space to dry clothes. The chairs in the church were impressive, the detail in the carvings must have taken some skill , take care, all the best 👍

Do you know.. I found an oold backpack in my local stream.. must have washed down from somewhere during a flood ! I cleaned it up with a hosepipe .. and am still using it !! not a Karrimor.. but I do have one of those sacks from the 1980's when I lived in Australia.. it's still going strong ..dayglow yellow and grey colour !! lol WTF !! do you want any coffee with your Baileys !? 😂🤣..ha ha.. a man after my own Errol Flynn drinking heart !! lol Cheers mate !! @@LezleysAdventures hi lezley, yes it comes in a leather sheath , should have shown it too, comes in a nice box , similar to those Japanese husk knives , not the type of knife I'd usually use but it's really good quality for food prep 👍

I wonder how this would compare to the Wisport 9L raccoon pocket pouch... pretty big as well and has molle on the outside of it, seems like a great backpack molle "rocket" pouch like seen on the sides of rucksacks.

I think the wisport 9l raccoon pouches will be more robust and the molle will come in handy, they're a lot more expensive though but would be the better option than this i think, but this works well too to attach to a bigger pack, I just use it for a cookset. Cheers, atb 👍

Shame you missed out in the snow, my mate was up there right in the middle of it and the views were amazing. Loved the old church and a canny camping pod too, basic but better than a tent in this weather. Nice to see you getting some decent weather and great views too, cheers Alan
