He needs to be separated from his family. Just like gentaro, neither of them are ready for a mate, let alone their own group. They both need time by themselves to mature and calm down, before they will be ready for a mate.

From what I read, blackbacks should spend time with other maturing males before departing to a troop of their own. They are full of testerone and learning from other like-minded males is considered healthy for an up and coming troop leader, that's how they learn hierarchy.

She most likely has passed away, there hasn’t been an update on here since last year and that was awhile ago too so I wouldn’t get my hopes up on this zoo being transparent or even a little honest.

I think she is dead and they are just hiding it,hoping we will stop asking,because if she was doing so well you would think they would want to attract positive feedback for their zoo.Instead they have been silent since the day they took her away,one or 2 pics months ago on their website,which were awful,so yeah I think she has been gone for some time now,with some help if you know what I mean.
