I really feel for kiyomasa, i don't see why they can't put him with his mom for now. It's so frustrating knowing that there is nothing we can do except wait till it's too late. 😢

So Proud of Shabani!!! For nearly a year the troop: AI, Nene and at times Anne have tried to replace Shabani as the leader. Shabani has shown great strenghth to be patient in hopes Kiyo would grow out of it but instead kept intanganising, embarassing and taunting Shabani with pertection of the females. Not anymore!!!! It seems as though Kiyo is no longer accepted by Shabani in the troop for good reason. Having romanatic contact with AI....not a good idea! I don't see this changing now so it would be in Kiyos best interest that the Zoo put him with his mother Nene for good. Once out they never get back in!

In the past, Nene seemed to encourage Kiyomasa whenever he challenged his father. Nene controlled Ai, but she couldn't control Shabani. Nene was a trouble-maker not a peace-maker. The keepers are wise to allow Nene to retire.

Shabani needs a larger group of females..kiyo has to go. These poor gorillas should be outdoors more, and running.. getting exercise

I feel so bad that shabani has to keep himself and the females mostly indoors, in a basement because of kiyo. Until they remove him, there will be no harmony.

Not that I know of. She's elderly and became ill, so was moved away from the exhibit and the other gorillas, who didn't understand what was wrong with her and consequently did not treat her as a geriatric who needed rest and help.

If I understand it correctly, there can only be one male to a group. If so, there will be trouble!

It’s possible to have more than one silverback in a group but there is a very clear leader of the troop. It’s seen more often with mountain gorillas in the wild though. Actually, I just saw a video of two troops of mountain gorillas passing each other in the wild. All the silverbacks were barking, drumming, and posturing until the leader charged at them to stop and move on.

The son should have been moved by now. In the UK we had a much loved youngster called Lope who was sent to live with a bachelor group last year in order to avoid the sort of confrontation we're seeing here.

Comparing kiyo with Gentaro, Gentaro looks so much healthier and bigger. Gentaro likes to mess with his father. You would think he learned his listen messing with his father but nope.😅. How long can kiyo keep running away, sooner or later they'll finally have it out...hope kiyo doesn't get hurt so bad....very frustrating to watch father chasing son.....

“”IDK”” my poor sweet 😂😂little Kiyo😂😂 I’m feeling so bad for him Shabani is trying to run him off but Kiyo has no where to go😢😢😢😢. It’s the gorilla’s politics I think 🤔 because Shabani knows that Kiyo has mated with mum Nene, his sister Ai, and his other sister Annie.. just me thinking out loud

These are my favorite gorillas. I love them, but I have to say out of all the other gorillas that I have watched, these guys are all small and thin. I don’t know if it has to do with the food or the size of the enclosures they’re in, but if you look at all the other gorillas on KZbin, they’re huge.

There are just differences. If you look at some of the male gorillas of Gaia Zoo, I think they are even thinner than Annie and Ai.

7:17 Handsome Kiyomasa😍💕, Japan’s zoos have not only have failed Kiyomasa, but have failed all these young beautiful prosperous gorillas. I can’t imagine what it must feel like to be constantly Hunted/Pursued by your own father everyday. Kiyo is very stressed which is limiting his growth factor substantially.

@@jahrasta2575совершенно верно. Кийо всегда вел себя вызывающе при полном покровительстве Нене. Теперь Нене нет и защищать его некому. Кийо знает, как и каждая горилла, что нельзя спарываться со своим родственниками, но, тем не менее, нарушает запреты. Шабани его контролирует и выживает из семьи, что естественно.

BS ! Gentaro got hurt by Momo a few weeks before , just look at his face NOW since the scar although better is still showing and also the zoo tries to feed or separate them most the times . Kiyo instead to “ grown “ and learn from Shabani was always behind Nene and Aí , a typical “ mom’s boy ‘.

These Gorillas are given exceptional food...they are SAFE from Hunting and Poaching..they often have traps set and they are maimed or killed. They have their family together. They have access too SOOOOOO much you do not see on these clip. TRUST ME!! it makes my ❤ feel good knowing there safe from THE EVILS OF MAN!!

Great to see father and son playing again. Kiyo will need to leave the family soon and be the silverback in his new family. I hope there' a place for him somewhere at another zoo which allows him to do this
