Transmutate is actually one of my favorite episodes of Beast Wars. It’s mostly due to the fact that you see a side of Rampage that hasn’t been seen before or since. Innoway it was tragically sweet that Rampage legitimately cared for someone else.

I always liked how even though he was one of the nicest guys around, he could also be one of the toughest and brutal when provoked, as evident by his fights with Tarantulas. He was strangely fitting duality.

@@Okiedog1 I forgot about that part, makes me feel like the universe gave Waspinator a chance to return the favor. Everyone else blows up Waspinator and then Waspinator turns around and blows up Silverbolt, sounds like a form of karma. Another reason to love Waspinator, at least returning him t some level of his skilled "Beast Wars pt.1" appearance

@@Okiedog1 He was actually one of the most effective maximal fighters considering how late he came into the series with a very respectable ratio of victories versus defeats. He placed third overall with Rat Trap and Rhinox taking 1st and second (Rat Trap is the most effective fighter in the whole series), then followed by Dinobot in 4th, Depthcharge in 5th, Optimus in 6th, the rest kinda falling into the spaces between, and dead last is poor Cheetor who is the only maximal that wound up with more losses than victories. I think it's largely due to just how strong his primary weapon is, how he can fly, and how he does have some strategy when fighting. Compare it to Quickstrike who is the worst fighter in the entire series (yes even worse than Waspinator) who only has a venom bite, a weak-ass green laser, can't fly, and is dumb as rocks. Overall yes, he did get ganked by Waspinator once, but he has a good track record otherwise.

Quoth Scott himself: Silverbolt...strong, proud, brave, and smart as a sack of hammers. But yes, even if they DON'T do the Transmetals for Kingdom, even if they SOMEHOW DON'T give us the other characters tied to those post-Season 1 toylines, at least give us Silverbolt. On the flipside, his original toy is one of those that still immaculately hold up as a representation, even by modern standards. Unlike the others, which CLEARLY show their age, apart from needing a slightly different face and being KD Blackarachnia's height when he should be taller, Silverbolt is pretty damn spot on, so he still fits as a proper representation. A modern one would have to be a short Voyager like and Primal and T30 Rhinox. If nothing else, all four of Scott McNeill's roles NEED to have modern representations, assuming that Kingdom Waspinator rumor is still in the works.

@@humangirl2122 Care to explain why or how is it that they didn't ruin everyone but Cheetor? A lot of people seem to believe Cheetor got some character development/growth in BM but in reality that has always been a thing for him since he was just introduced as the kid who got into war (pretty much the reason he even got a TM2 form on the first place, in order to better represent his passage from a child to a teenage/adult) so everything stayed the same for him. Optimus Primal became a zealot obsessed with the oracle to the point of almost starting his own cult so that's why Cheetor had to take his place as a leader (they even mention several times that he has become a danger to the others but still respect him). How did he go from a born leader, a rational character and the voice of reason to… pretty much a feeble minded preacher? Blackarachnia was a little more than a babysitter but when she wasn't then her entire character revolved around finding Silverbolt or suffering because of him. She was the enbodiment of a strong and independant woman in the previous series, she even intimidated Dinobot if I'm not mistaken. Silverbolt just became an angsty teenager. Do I need to say more? While Rattrap became a substitute for Rhynox he also happened to became a one dimensional hacker (some attempt of a hacker because reasons) despite being the most irrational character in the whole series. As a matter of fact I think he was less of a coward in the previous series since he had no problem to face the enemy face to face. Rhynox… just became a different character. Call it brainwashing if you want but that was a completely different character even after he regained his conciousness. We had a magnific depiction of what an evil Rhynox would have looked like on the previous series so I don't know what their excuse was for this one.

I love silverbolt so much as a kid and as an adult lol his chivalry and sense of honor was always my favorite aspect of him even though it's super cheesy and cliche. I feel like we could all be a little more chivalrous and honorable in a world that's bleak and depressing as is. I would absolutely love it if they made a remaster of his toy model. Yea Bird Dog & Legs should be brought back together. I loved Silverbolt in Beast WArs & he was great in Beast Machines, I just wish that since his robot mode looked like a ninja warrior someone called him Ninja Bird. I also liked how Blackarachnia told him how much Cheetor grew up when he rejoined the Maximals in Beast Machines. I can't wait for more Beast Wars Retrospectives especially on Optimus, Dinobot, Rat Trap, & Cheetor to give a few examples

Silverbolt is my favorite character and toy from Beast Wars. Very honorable and mythical in appearance. I was happy to see his return in Beast Machines. His look reminded me of Samurai Jack. His Beast Machines toy, however needs a major remake.

I loved the relationship between BLACKARACHNIA, & SILVERBOLT. I also believe without SILVERBOLT, constantly showing his affections, & believing in the good that was inside her, just itching to come out. BLACKARACHNIA would have remained a PREDICON, but with SILVERBOLT, she developed both a desire to return to her original programed allegiance, & a love for her furry, feathered friend. On the subject of Beast Wars, I have a discussion request: what happened to the rest of the stasis pods ejected from the Maximal ship in the first episode? Only 10 that I can remember are accounted for. 8 became new characters, Black Arachnia, Tigatron, Airrazor, Inferno, Silverbolt, Quickstrike, Rampage, and Transmutate. 2 were used for "Resurrections", restoring Optimus Primal's spark, and creating Dinobot 2. So.... what about the rest?

silverbolt is my absolute favorite transformer (2nd gen) i actually have a theory on why he became more dark in BM, its due to his beast mode, in BW he was a wolf and eagle (or falcon) noble and true, but in BM he was stripped of that and became some kind of Vulture or Condor, aka A Bird of Prey, from a Knight to a Ronin
