Brian Wilson from the Beach Boys. Were his main influence for the majority of the album. That's from Daniel Johns's own mouth himself. I love the progression of each Silverchair Album. I wish they would release the material they were working on for their 6th studio album. They did play 2 songs live at the Groovin The Moo Festival in 2010, called, "16" and '"Machina Collecta". Though "16" was released on Daniel Johns's solo album "Talk". And those who don't know on April. 1st, 2022 Daniel Johns will be releasing his new studio album called "FutureNever".

Actually no, Paul wasn't the reason they broke up, it was Daniel's choice. Paul was simply an additional member of Silverchair.
