Probably the most talented individuals to ever be in one band at the same time. When they were 15-16 they were being compared to Pearl Jam and Nirvana and by the time they hit their mid twenties the only band I can really think I can compare them with is The Beatles after they came back from India.

Wooooah, never heard this version before. They fucking owned it, wow, holy crap. I fucking love this band. And to add to the album discussion, everyone really needs to check out Diorama and Young Modern thoroughly. I have a few friends who dissed it and YM when it came out, just because it wasn't the Frogstomp/Freakshow Silverchair that they knew. But boy, are they missing out. after 1998, mtv didnt really pay attention to these guys, let alone the United States. They only toured Europe and played gigs at their home country, Australia. That's how you listen to an album though. When I first listened to Frogstomp and Freak Show I listened to the singles forever. But at one point you have to put on the album and NOT TOUCH IT. Just let it play. You'll hear riffs you enjoy, a catchy chorus, words that resonate, anything. I need to do that with Diorama. I haven't fully accepted anything after Neon Ballroom...Although, I did buy YM...

@musikizevrything I like about 2/3rds of the songs in young modern.. Reflections of a Sound I still cannot get into though.. it's just.. annoying.. I prefer most of the songs how they perform them live though, Young Modern seemed overproduced and just lacked a feeling of raw energy from their other albums.
