I taught myself guitar at 18. Practiced 4 hours a day and taught my little brothers drums and guitar. My 10 year old brother mastered both by 14, doing crazy Metallica solos, so I bought him a 4 track recorder and he recorded on that and played guitar 14 hours a day. They would practice in the house all summer long. This reminds me so much of that time, and this is the time when silverchair was big. Thanks for bringing these memories back. him and our cousin started a band that blew everyone away. The producer for Korn wanted to record them, but then prescription drugs took it all away. I bought a bass for my youngest brother who was about the same age as this bass player, and even looks like he did! Stay away from drugs kids! Please!

4 Brothers rocking Real Music with Real Instruments and none of the computer generated crap that pollutes the airwaves daily. I couldn't agree more. You guys are very tight, very talented. I'm not jiving you. Keep the grades up, stay in school. But when old enough, get out and hit the clubs, hit the radio stations. Get yourselves in front of as many music producers as you can possibly can. Camp outside their offices and catch them on the way to the parking lot. I've been in the business, traveled the Southern US as a regional band, slept in my car, worked with talent agencies, etc. I would have done anything in the world to have a line up like yours. Never did. I was the one that played the other's instruments on demos because they weren't good enough. Teaching someone to sing harmony is nearly impossible. Finding a drummer that can lay down a solid track without waver is a rare find. Finding a bass player that plays all the notes as opposed to just following the root melody of the guitar is frustratingly hard. Please be discovered and bring back real music. :)

Advice to the singer. Continue to practice sliding between lower register and head voice. Put all you got into your chest voice when live. Practice your screams. Don't be afraid of them or the mic. Practice like a opera singer, sing like a rock star. You've got a great voice, just let it out man! :)
