Somebody should make sone kind of prequel movie about Ben's childhood and Herbie & Birdie Marsten. And then one about ancient vampire Barlow

You should watch the 1979 adaption by Tobe Hooper. It's not entirely faithful but it's entertaining. I would love to see you do a comparison. You should also checkout the short stories "One for the Road" & " 'Jerusalem's Lot" which both appear in the collection called "Night Shift." They are "Salem's Lot "adjacent.
