I love some of the houses up there! I didn't realize how hilly it is there, way cool. I would rather have a trap and skeet club instead of a golf course. I never saw the fun of golf or tennis. The large lot sizes are great, i don't want a neighbor 100 feet away. DC Ranch is nice but sort of cramped. I don't mind the natural space covenants AZ has, as it is a percentage of your property that remains undeveloped. Just have to find a lot big enough for your needs. Watch out for the cholla cacti, those things are nasty mean!

It is, but it has been tried before, in more laid back times, even, and... everybody spent their time in the car alleys. Maybe they met each other there, but... America : Cars. I wonder if it works here with this group of people. "a custom home". I just got finished watching a video for one of the $25M jobbies up on the mountain. And he called it a "brand new custom home". But it was complete. Maybe they are "custom" but for whom? This one? Original owner. Maybe. That one? Um.. the speculator/builder. "Adjective. North America. made or done to order for a particular customer." A spec house cannot be truly "custom" by definition. Somebody else's home cannot be custom to -me-. Do RE agents mean "custom" differently? Are they using it to mean "not a generic tract home"? Confused. And because of that, cynical. "Cannot use." Props for bringing that up right after "larger lots that they can use." It's correct and honest. I checked for you, you're a bit over 14% slope right there. Steep enough. Just before there, on the late part of the bend it's steeper and ... 14.4%. Looks like they are keeping under 14.5%. "The maximum gradeient of local roads is usually restricted by local ordinance and will be on the order of [sic] 12% to 15%". And it's a luxury neighbourhood. Luxury usually precludes "must by a 4x4 to get to the club". "diamond in the rough"... that's the second time this week I've had occasion to say "I don't think that means what you think that means." Oo... yeah, I got a feel for it. Cramped and dangerous. I never realized it was so... "bijou". ANYWAY, nice vid. Thanks. I like the format. A peek in a few more homes would have been cool.
