Returned to the magic after 20+ years and now i am hooked the the MTG arena. Its quite fun to think and craft a deck via exploring and try and error. But i found your vids and still watch your content eventhough i wont copy your deck or smth, i still like your energy and wits.

Abzan Eerie Angels is an awesome deck Clex is cool and all but with the ETB effects from Righteous Valk and Renegade, plus all the other Kaldheim angels. You've got the Bindings for mill and removal along with Rampage, plus with the new Strix spot removal. It is a pretty fun deck. You have board wipes if it you get outpaced by aggro and enough work around to deal with control. And did I mention Angels? I use the Mythic Angel of Destiny as an Alt win-con if needed.

Dramatic finale looks like it would go ok with the 5 mana 1/2 that makes tokens for your white devotion. 5 2/2 tokens more if you have extra devotion.

I play a version of this with 4x Heraldic Banner/ 4x Blot out the sky, and it works exactly like you hope. Turn 5-7 you often get to blow up every-noncreature-thing and create six 4/1 fliers.

@@comokazijeff yeah, unless you get creative. Usually casting x=5 is best unless you need to get rid of opponents stuff.

Inklings just don't have the power we expect with MTG tokens. They are cool, in particular I like using them to give the opponent a token they can't attack with more than attacking with them. The only way I would play them exclusively is with Strixhaven stadium and some paralysis moves. Esper stuff would benefit them amazingly as long as the opponent doesn't board wipe. Even if they do Blot out the Sky to recover! Pretty simple but still a bit slow for this meta. Another idea to help them stand on their own would be to use Mutate with them since there are plenty of good Orzhov mutates and if you splash into Esper you get even more. Including a Hexproof with a wide booty.

Silverquill command is already discounted if you have killian out. That's why it was highlighted before you had your fourth land down in game 2.

Maybe Dramatic Finale goes into a Mono Black devotion shell with Ayara, Grey Merchant, and maybe even Erebos. Just Finale and Erebos activate his devotion requirements after all

I think the only thing that would make blot the sly decent is of it were an instant, that way if they came in tapped on the opponent turn you'd still be able to swing in sooner

Killian, Ink Duelist would be the perfect mutate card if he wasn't Human... Lifelink and Menace are extremely valuable for a mutate stack (either you don't get blocked or you get to kill and heal twice), mutating on it costs 2 less which is perfect for the high cost of mutate cards and you can remove its Legendary status through mutating. What a shame, they thought of everything!

@@emokniet np dude, I'd never heard of the card! Have you heard of the gatherer or scryfall? They are websites that let you search up cards and stuff on the fly. That's where I go to look up legality. Great brewing tools.

hey Jeff, seeing as how you already have Shadrix Silverquill, ever considered making an Orzhov Gauntlets of Light Fliers deck with Shadrix and Indulging Patrician in Historic? Cause, with the Gauntlets equipped, Shadrix can hit for a whoping 17 damage in a single attack on the air, while Patrician hits for 6 and then 3 more at the end of turn cause she gained 6 life. I ask because I don't have Shadrix to try it out

7:20 why wouldnt you bloodchiefs thirst the sea dasher for 1 mana then you could heartless the dragon for only 2 mana and still play out the elite spell binder
