Sounds great! We should have the full scope of our videos out before your sailing, so you will be prepared. In general, service is great and the ship is beautiful. Food has been hit or miss, but that is very subjective. We are still having a great time!!

My wife and I have agreed that Joybec has been the best butler we have had! Very nice and has been very accommodating. He even dragged a heavy lounge chair onto our balcony so we could lay out and be lazy together. Sorry that he could not be with you and the children for Christmas, but he is great for us! We thoroughly enjoy your travel VLOGs. Thank you for this latest adventure. Regarding SS, your video confirmed why we were supremely disappointed with SS. No sail away festivities on deck, a very plain and pedestrian breakfast buffet with no specials, up-charging for specialty restaurants (and SS's weren't very good)... In the premium cruise class, SS in our opinion doesn't come even close to Seabourn (our preferred choice) or Regent. We believe Ritz is in a separate premium class more akin to Sea Dream. But we're open minded to your next SS VLOGs to change that low opinion of SS.

In other videos coming soon, we will have good meals, although it has been hit or miss. Service and ship are top notch, with no real complaints. Our butler is great, the best we have had!

im curious to hear your dining and service comparison between regent and silverseas. i have only sailed on regent cruises (Explorer class of ships) and have yet to try other comparable brands since we find regent to be a great value. we also like the layout of regent ships and find them spacious.

Glad you enjoyed the video. We have found a couple of venues on the ship with very good food, and of course, we will detail those in later videos. We agree that Regent had better food, but Ritz Carlton's food has been tops for us! We will be doing a tour video of both our cabin and the ship, so keep a look out!

I will be travelling on the silver moon from Fort Lauderdale next month. We were told that we would get our luggage tags when we arrive at the pier. Was this your experience? If so, how did it work out?

Yes, and it worked out well. We were concerned also, but a porter met us at our Uber, looked up our cabin on his sheets (even though I told him), tagged the bags, and loaded them onto a cart. Easy peasy. We tipped him $10.
