I think Shane was referring to this song when he said in a recent interview that it was unfair that emo or post-hardcore bands couldn't use electronic elements because "those things are not part of this musical style." Fortunately, they ignored these prejudices and decided to incorporate new factors that expand their musical horizons, and I love it.
@Megaalith3 жыл бұрын
I think its because crunkcore killed any idea of using electronic in it. And I think Enter Shikari disproved that from day 1 of their existence.

I've grown up being (in my opinion) their biggest fan. Started listening in 2003... I'm now 30 and love them just as much as I always have. Their Out of this World concert series was amazing. I miss seeing them live and can't wait for November when the twice postponed show will finally, hopefully happen!!🤞🤞

Oh my god I have no idea how I never knew about this song/album. This shit should have been a fucking top 40 hit, this song is proof that the music industry is not based on merit...at all. I used to listen to Discovering The Waterfront on repeat for months and I absolutely LOVE this direction they've gone. I'm fucking FLOORED by how incredible this is. Just happened to hear this song on Pestily's stream and i tracked it down, imagine my shock when I found it it belongs to one of my favorite bands growing up. Wow.
@Aric_EPU Жыл бұрын
I discovered this album like maybe a year or two ago, well, the band in general actually. This should’ve been a top 50 album but unfortunately talent is often overlooked. This is one of the few albums (I say few but I have a playlist of 2000+ songs) in which I have every song on because they all hit.

@@Aric_EPU you know how married couples say "we had a baby" you know how it takes 2 people right? The idea of using "we" is a more recent form used to be more inclusive of the father, or at least share the blame.

First Silverstein song I don't really like, sad that this day came. If not Shane's voice I wouldn't ever say it is Silverstein. I understand and respect that they try new things, it's not bad but... imo they went too far with it. I believe that they can still back to their roots maybe on next record I hope so.
