Parc Ferme starts as soon as you leave the garage in quali, so even if you did the full quali you wouldn't be able to change it after your first run.

I'd advise playing in manual with suggested gears before raising the AI to be honest. You are pretty much focused on immersion and simulation by turning off most assists, and still avoid the most immersive thing you can do! :D And I really believe it will gain +0.3 secs per lap after you get accustomed to it

I recommend you whenever it's wet quali and dry race, only adjust the front wing. The front wing is the only thing you can change under parc ferne. Full quali would not have changed the situation because you can't adjust the setup anymore once you hit the track for the first time in q1.

Come on Trev... Upgrade the pit crew in personal section. And start on mediums when on a bad setup like that... Save the softer compound for the end of the race when your car is faster and lighter

Trev it's always smart to prioritise the race for the setup as that's where you get points If you are slow in the race, it won't matter if u qualify high

you should do a video on your first time trying manual shifting. it’s difficult to get started on it but once you learn how you can gain a lot more pace.

Love the video! For future reference you can change parts of the setup after part ferme, on the race strategy menu if you go to setup you can customize things like tire pressure and differential

Trevor, i know you are almost done with the series, but you CAN change the setup after the quali!! After the quali you can change a few things (one of them is aerodynamic!). At the start of the race you’ll see an option to change the setup. The parc ferme things are locked! Hope you’ll read this!

The problem is that you are looking at best dry setup and best wet set up. You are looking at black and white, you need to find something in between. I would suggest in that scenario to go with the team suggestion

You can get quicker exits once you move to manual, you control when the engine shifts gears so it doesn't get bogged down on your exits, and having traction control off helps alot, takes abit to get use to but you could save seconds on alot of tracks

Should of qualified with the dry setup and maybe started in back but would of kept you with the rest of pack with speed. Pitting early helped as well.

trev, the setups online that have max tire pressure are for Time Trials to achieve peak performance over 1 lap. for race tires they are bad for tire temperatures. lower the psi a few for races

If you take off 1-shot qualifying, you can set your best lap with the rain setup, then switch it to the dry setup after.

One thing that probably makes the game a lot harder is that the AI has extreme speed on the straights, even pros are losing a lot of time on the straights.

I’ve noticed it is strangely worse on certain tracks. Like some their straight line speed is manageable, but then other times it’s like defending against a rocket ship.

The straight line speed isn’t all your car the game is glitched so it gives the A.I better speed

If you do short quali it is a 30 minute session and at the end you can change your setup so instead of 1 hour like full quali it is only 30 minutes
