How come the rear wing in the new race set up is so drastically different? 38-1-21-1-33-"40"
@SinghRacing8 ай бұрын
@@DannyPh3 Wassup.. You mean the rear ride height at 40, right? Generally, in this game, I found that the high rear ride height of 39 or 40 works well with 5 rear suspension (soft). Higher rear ride height gives more rotation in all kinds of corners (slow, medium, fast) and also stops rear bottoming out in high speed corners exits under acceleration like exit of Maggots/Backetts/Chapel/Stowe, while the soft suspension improves rear traction and stability especially in slower corners. If the rear suspension is too soft, it can sometimes cause more traction and stability issues. 😂

Hey Singh, best breakdown on a Silverstone lap I've watched (and many I have watched). Thank you for this.

Awesome guide! I was able to combine your recommendations with my setup and found 1.5 seconds! I have found that tweaking the camber & toe helps @ some tracks but not here. RRLL works the best! Thank you for helping out with RACE setups. So many others focus on TT, which doesn't help when you have 35 or 50% race length and a full fuel. I prefer to do MP online with friends or Career.

Wow, that's massive. And, thank you 💪 i am kinda obsessed with race setups ever since i started spinning in race with TT setups. Now i spin less 😂

What is RRLL?
@SinghRacing11 ай бұрын
RRLL refers to the suspension geometry. Front & rear camber all the way to the right. Front & rear toe all the way to the left.

Is it worth kepping areo and ride hight level.
@SinghRacing10 ай бұрын
Yes, just keep it. An alternative suspension layout i tried out recently is 41-1-11-1-33-35, the rear is a bit more stable. You can increase the front wing if you need more front grip.

@@SinghRacing thank you. That's what I am looking for a more stable rear

@@SinghRacing sorry another question. Could u keep the settings and use in another track
@SinghRacing10 ай бұрын
@@Michaelknight79 normally I'd say yes. But Silverstone is a bit tricky for me at least, so this suspension setup in this video may not work at other tracks. A baseline suspension that I've worked out that works in most tracks is 41-5-5-1-33-39 (soon to be explained in the next video this weekend 😉)... You may try it n make tiny adjustments to the wings also to compensate and improve the handling. PS. no need to apologize, feel free to ask as much as you'd like over here and in the community's Discord server. 💪🏻😎
