Love Nikki on the vocals. And even more than that, I love how no matter who takes the lead, the song is just so unmistakably theirs. Silversun Pickups keeps sounding so damn good, and keeps putting out incredibly solid albums that take me different places. I am grateful for every new album! I can't wait for this one to come out, because I have a feeling it will be complete catharsis for all sorts of stuff that has built up over these past two and a half years.

I feel naive admitting this: but id never heard of Silversun Pickups back in 2006 when I first found their debut LP Carnavas in a Fred Meyer (think Safeway or Albertsons for those not from the Pacific Northwest) electronics dept. I was simply thumbing through the alt rock section and was very taken by the artwork of the cover. I played a few minutes of the opening track and immediately fell in love. Still to this day I can simply press play and let the entire works play from start to end. They are so terrifically talented and watching their evolution has been even more of a sonic feast for my ears.
