It's got a strong shoegaze element to it that makes it seem like something that may have come out during the heyday of 90's shoegazing. Reckon these guys listened to a lot of My Bloody Valentine prior to making this album.

@@brndyfranklin I never thought I'd escape the nightmare of homelessness and drug addiction and in three years and 9 months, I did it. It was hard at many times but I kept up with the program and I did 200% sometimes to make sure I didn't go backwards. When I was sitting in front of a fast food place begging for food, I didn't feel that uncomfortable at all in that place, much like now. What I'm trying to say is, for other people that are or were like me, you're always the same person looking out the same eyes with the same mind so it takes courage to change, that's what I did and it worked when it could have not, I had faith in hope.

Letra: I've been waiting I've been waiting for this moment all my life But it's not quite right And this 'real' It's impossible if possible At whose blind word So clear but so unheard I've been waiting I've been waiting for this silence all night long It's just a matter of time To appear sad With the same old decent lazy eye Fixed to rest on you Aim free but so untrue Everyone's so intimately rearranged Everyone's so focused clearly with such shine Everyone's so intimately prearranged Everyone's so focused clearly with such shine Locked and loaded Still the same old decent lazy eyes Fixed through your gaze That's why I said I relate I said we really Need to fight to relate It's the room the sun and the sky The room the sun and the sky I've been waiting I've been waiting for this moment

This song truly fits the bill of "majestic." The moment the opening melody begins, you are teleported to another time. If you're still young, it's a time that you're still trying to explain. If you are older, it's a time that you wish could come back. You don't just hear this song, you feel it.

I fell for a girl in my early teens, it was awkward and even though we tried we never made it but it haunted me well into my older life, I never got over her. She was that cliche 'the one' that stories are made of. 30 years later we found each other again and this time we made it right. I showed her this song and video early on, saying it reminded of me of our younger years and it instantly became our song. Once a week on her private playlist to remind her of fate. She left a year and a half ago, career came first unfortunately and I was apparently not part of it, even though I supported and cheer-leaded for her every step of the way. Watching this again tonight, I cried for the first time in many, many years. A grown man in his 40s sobbing over a love lost. The clip hurt more than the song.

Hard to describe what this song does to me. I'm 20 again, my heart is pounding as I listen to amazing 90's real Alternative. Maybe it's the Meat Puppets, maybe the Pumpkins, maybe Blossoms, doesn't matter. Time rolls backwards 25 years for me for four minutes and change. When the song ends my heart is pounding I can feel it in my ears, eyes closed, struggling to hold onto that feeling of youth and its infinite possibility.

By far! I don’t know many people who have heard this song but I remember getting ready for school during middle school and seeing it for the first time on MTV. Loved it ever since. The whole song is underrated in my opinion

It was featured on Guitar Hero, so it's definitely recognized. I play this song in that game all the time. So hard too lol!

its like, it makes me feel nostalgic for something I never experienced but someone else did, like a shared memory from a sea of memories that I cant recall but I know they're there.

It's 2020. Quarantine. I just turned a lonely 50 (had to cancel the celebration). And this is totally my jam. No idea how this happened but I appreciate how we're all here jamming out to this song. What else do we have to do right now?

This song was one that my ex-boyfriend and I used to love. It reminds me now of warmth and bed and sleep and comfort. We used to have it on repeat and fall asleep to it, then everything went to shit with us and I blocked it out of my head, until I stumbled across it today while sorting through my iTunes. Kinda strange how one song or a voice or certain lyrics can bring back so many memories of a specific time in your life, memories that haven't been unlocked for years. Just thought I would share it with you all as it's a very important song to me.
