I watched this movie 5 times now, my 11 year old watched it 11 times and my hubby watched it 3 times but overall most people who watched it did it more than once , that’s how good of a movie it is. Of course we can never , ever satisfy everyone so even with a movie as good as this some will still say they could have done this or this even though if they did exactly that they would have been another complain. This is the first movie I watched that hook me from beginning to end to the screen but also the first where all three the main actors are literally my favourite, I felt madly in-love with this movie but also the fact that it’s based on true events. The acting was insanely amazing and now I want to meet this three main actors in real life, they all deserve an Oscar for their acting but the movie will definitely win an Oscar award no doubt about it. @@sanders194539 first of all you could have said "Black South Africans" since I'm going to assume that you're referring to them, which is funny because even other ethnic groups were oppressed alongside black people but okay. Secondly I can tell you're one of those idiots whom I normally do not have the patience to grace with my time because you have never been in a position of a black man or black woman in history, so your ass wouldn't know what freedom means essentially. As for a failing government, well I would say this is not going to be the platform for me to delve into political issues. I'm not going to be killjoy and spoil the mood. People are happy for this movie and that's all that matters. Now goodbye.

On 25 January 1980 three MK Cadres - Stephen Mafoko, Humphrey Makhubo and Wilfred Madela - were allegedly on their way to carry out a planned MK sabotage mission on petrol depots at Watloo near Mamelodi. En route, ‘the Trio’ realised they were being tailed by the police. In an attempt to escape, they took refuge in a branch of Volkskas Bank in Silverton, Pretoria. They held 25 civilians in the bank hostage, making a number of demands, including a meeting with State President Vorster, the release of Nelson Mandela and a man called Mange, as well as R100 000 in cash and an aircraft to fly them to Maputo. After a series of negotiations, which included the police handing food over to the cadres and hostages, a police unit stormed the bank and all three cadres were killed by the police. Two civilians, Valerie Anderson and Anna de Klerk, were killed and many others were wounded in the shootout. Don't simp for terrorists.
