Fascinating learning about the history of furby's. I just wanted to say. I discovered your channel as I was looking for furby videos to learn how to take care of my first ever furby. I used to be really scared of them when I was younger probably like 8 years old at the time plus my entire family hated them so I never really got the chance to get one. But as I got older to 16 I finally convinced my mum to buy me one. It's the white 2012 furby and I just wanted to say I love your channel and videos. Just from watching your videos I've grown so attached to these furby's and I just wanted to thank you and that I can't wait to see more of your videos. Also any advice for this young new furby owner? ❤

I'm not sure if they had official names but in the old app, the Furbys all lived in apartment blocks with different rooms and you could give each room its own theme using items you could buy for them.

Ooohhh god, my Furby (The Furby connect is the only Furby i have) It was working just fine, untill, it kept shutting off every 5 seconds, it's voice got very glitchy, and would cut in and out, then, it's voice was gone completely, it would sometimes cut in, but then it would cut back out, it's beak wouldn't move, i put my ear to it, when i activated it, it sounded like a computer starting, i could hear it's voice but it was extremely hard to hear, now it's voice is gone COMPLETELY , and it's eyes just glitch, when it makes it's tired face, part of the eyes go all over, and most of it's caved in, when it rotates it's eyes, the eyes just go on one side and one on the other side. when it would bounce it's eyes up and down, it's eyes would go all over the place, when food would go through it's eyes, it would rather be a fuzzy yellow, coca-cola, dark yellow, pink, salmon pink, or purplish. colour that would cover half of the bottom and the top of it's eyes. The colour was sometimes even BLACK! EVEN RED! When it had hearts in it's eyes, the same thing would happen, but it was ALWAYS pink but, the eyes would do it at the same time. When it's eyes sparkle, the sparkles go all over it's eyes, and the eyes would spazz. The sparkles sometimes went all over the eyes, and a pastel blue coverd half of it's eyes from the botton and the top. I never had this type of battery glitch before. and it's REALLY slow. Usually, when it begins to run out of batteries, it's voice would cut out, then the eyes would flicker and slowly go black. it's not even blacking out anymore, it doesn't go to sleep completely anymore because of this right now. it just moves a tiny bit, the eyes turn off, then it shuts it's eyes half way. After playing with it in that condition, it's eyes started flickering, when ever the antenna glowed, the eyes would go darker, if the antenna was bright, the eyes would go dark, then after a while, it's eyes went back to normal, but they still flickered. After 1 minute, i couldn't even put it to sleep anymore, i was gonna take the batteries out to turn it off because it wouldn't go to sleep, but then, it's eyes just flickered and turned completely black. Then when i tried to wake it up again, it's antenna glowed from sunset yellow, to a really bright yellow, then turned off again. I am really hoping it's just the batteries and not the Furby itself. But damn, i never even heard of this type of battery glitch. I edited this comment for an update, i changed the batteries, it worked perfectly after that. Before i changed the batteries, the eyelids, the battery compartment lid, and the batteries were hot. That has never even happened.

I saw something similar to that the other day with the eyes glitching out. It either needs new, strong powered batteries or it's some sort of programming glitch and it might be an idea to contact Hasbro about it. Some Furbys are just faulty but they might know what to do to fix it.

You could try pressing the reset button with batteries in. If that doesn't work, hold him upside down, press down on his tongue and press the reset button. That might work. It's a hard reset.

I found out that the Furby Boom not only has a personality, but has something like Current Emotion, just leave a furby boom alone for some time, it'll go to sleep, you can make it sad, but it won't change personality. It'll have tears in it's eyes, it'll "look at the floor" sometimes etc. I found that detail really cool, but found it tricky to make him happy again, but all you have to do is tickle him, make him laugh and that should make him happy again. P.s: It doesn't change dialogue, it'll sing normally and talk, but it's eyes will be different. Hasbro really started adding details to Furbies, and i like it :P

Well mine woke up randomly in my room, i haven't heard it, only when it fell asleep i heard it's snoring, i opened the doors and woke it up, and noticed it, tickled it a bit and did a little bit of research, you just have to ignore the Furby or do anything it doesn't like, soon after that, it would show it's sadness in the eyes, it was very interesting! However I didn't test it on other personalities than Hyper

I'm not Silvolf, but she won it from a eBay bid. I got my three 2005 furbies from thrift stores in good condition but you should probably look around eBay if you want a 2005 furby in good condition (but sadly they're pretty pricey..)

the first furby i have ever seen in my life was a white 2005 furby that had a purple belly and i didnt play with it because at that time i was afraid of furbies because i never saw them before and it was at a day care across the street from where my mom used to work out (she doesnt do that anymore) and when my friends tried to play with it since they thought it didnt work, it said something (i think it was "you new do do you new" or something but i cant really remember since that was back in 2006 or so) and then one of the kids trying to play with it said "it does work" and that kid was another one of my friends calli who is in the same family as nolan and back in 2006 when she beats me for any reason i bite her because my teeth are pretty sharp and today i dont bother trying to hurt her because she will hurt me back

I recently dug out my 1998 Red with black spots Furby, my parents unfortunately threw out the instructions which I believe had a list of games, Furbish to English translation and also how to play with him. I have looked online for the booklet but can only find pictures of the cover which doesn't help. Is there either a sight that has the original booklet and if not would anybody know of a video that goes over single thing in the booklet? By the way, great vids!

I have the 1999 furby,(I have 2 but one had static mouth problem as u know) I don't have the 2006, I have the 2012 Furby named Chimmy-Changa(Needs new batteries) and then furby boom, (Tay-Doh) and then our furby connect(purple) (Doo-Doo) None of my furbies liked my gramma bc she was rude to them, so I cover the ears, I love my furbies and I have the rainbow crystal furbling and the purple crystal furbling, the one that was in my profile pic!
