Furby 2005 and Funky Furby 2006 Comparison

FuzzyNub meets MoonCloud! Here is a video comparing the 2005 Furby with the 2006 Funky Furby! There are a few differences which is one of the reasons I wanted both models.

Another thing that these two furbys have in common is that they were both made in the JT factory! You can see the C022G on the battery compartment, signifying the factory

The different versions of Furby don’t interact with each other - the original ones interacted with other Furbys, Furby Babies, Shelbys and Gizmos, but the later versions don’t cross-interact with each other! The ones seen here are supposed to be able to interact by touching tummies, but struggle to do so! The Furby Booms can interact with each other - you could give them a name in the app - any combination of Furbish phrases - you couldn’t call them Billy or Fred - the Crystals were similar and the Connects probably no longer work as well as the app is no longer available - anyone who still has it is lucky to have it as it’s no longer available in the Apple App Store and it won’t be updated to anyone who still has it! The 2005 Furby and the Funky Furby don’t have names in their own right - the just say “ Hey! Me Furby!” when you switch them on - you can name them in your own imagination something based on their appearance or a normal human name!

Exactly! This is why I give these ones non-Furbish names. It seemed to get easier with cross interaction with the Booms etc
