@@FDMKuma tbh new aatrox got a better treatment than the old aatrox. He has way more lines/interactions that give a better glimpse into his character. A little known fact about old aatrox is that almost all of his lines were quotes from dark themed novels. *"i know what lurks in the hearts of men"* (the shadow) is one such line. His character was more open to interpretation because of these but it had a different depth that made me enjoy maining him as a character and not simply because of his playstyle. Oldtrox will be missed.

Thank you for this. I've played league since the end of season 2. Love, hate, anger, sadness, reminds me of the time I actually enjoyed playing the game, rather than play it out of habit for the last 3 seasons. So much has changed, so much focus on the wrong things. I sure hope season 10 takes a step back in the right direction. I know I'm not alone when I say the emotions brought out by this video made me cry. I used to love League. Right now, and for a long while, it just.. Passes time. If they continue down the path they've been on, then maybe the storm should just, end.

3:50 for those who love Aatrox (or at least Darkin lore/Gore) close your eyes at this scene now although it's never stated who awoke Aatrox from the sword, let's just imagine it's Noxians as they are one of the best military forces that come to mind in Runeterra, let's imagine a band of Noxians stumbled upon the place where Aatrox's greatsword lay rested. Now think as the other 14 soldiers congregate amongst themselves about how in ruins the place is that they focus back on their former soldier, arms tainted and flesh set to boil. White flesh and blood from his eyeballs melt and pour from his sockets and flow like tears, his face turns reads all while a haunting anger wears his face in a fury. He lifts the greatsword and slices through 2 soldiers and the third in his path he impales while screaming "I will hack and chop and cleave" cut away from the scene and then come back to see that the flesh he's carving from these soldiers is being fused and absorbed into his sword and vicariously into the Darkin himself forcing himself and his sword to grow in stature, a clutter of flesh and bone subside as he finds form amongst the disembodied corpses. The last soldier looks in shock and horror as he cowers back in fear, running to escape the demonic entity. Aatrox as he finally finishes his transformation, ends his line as he lifts his gargantuan leg over the fleeing Noxian, "... AND SUNDER THE FILTH OF YOUR FORMS!" his stomps the ground cratering the surrounding forest and temple into nothing but rock and branch.
