can this be used as a wifi hotspot? I have an Idea for my Workshop where no Landline Internet Connection is available but there is Mobil Internet so this would be a great idea to use it in there

Think about the locations where wifi is not available. This module supports 4G LTE. I have used it in some intermediate and advanced level projects. Check the esp32 playlist.

Not yet, but I do have uploaded videos in water quality monitoring. Very soon I will use this game module with pH sensor and other important sensors.

If you want to use it as wifi modem, your data rate will be limited by the bus between the chips. Do I understand it correctly? In SPI case it will ne around 30Mbit/s
