Simagic Alpha and a new team GT3?!? Some driving with

New iRacing GT3 car decision was made! They caught me by surprise with the new Simagic Alpha and GT1 320mm D wheel. The Alpha feels pretty good honestly a great deal. The ecosystem is fantastic on top of the driving experience

How do you rate the Simagic versus Simucube?

Simucube is the best out there but price and ecosystem matter. FFB isn’t at the same level but it’s plenty communicative and I would have no problem beating people using that gear!

Plenty of options within the Simagic ecosystem if it’s hard to justify a Gomez or a Cube controls for example

Hmm, given what you've said and considering that I keep hearing that the Asetek wheelbases also give same level of granular detail of road texture in the FFB as the Simucubes, I'm starting to think it might be worth going the Asetek route with a La Prima wheelbase and pairing it with the GT Neo then. Price wise will be same as going with Simagic Alpha. It does have 3Nm less but I also keep hearing that 12Nm is pretty much the max anyone would want if racing.

@@DrR1pper it’s between Asetek and VRS for me. 2 of my friends have Simucube so I’m kinda hard headed 😂

@@DrR1pper they really are killer wheelbase’s! The laprima bundle I believe you can upgrade to 18nm later on
