Hi Alan, good review. I know it's subjective but from the mattresses you've tried, which one would you recommend for a heavy side sleeper with bit of a dodgy lower back that likes to sleep cool?
@alanrossreviews4 жыл бұрын
its impossible to say other than start by looking at the firmer options. what are your sleeping positions? if side then middle ground mattress will be a better option, back and tummy firmer options. but then, heat issues? you want bounce or better motion transfer?
@smokee38204 жыл бұрын
@@alanrossreviews which mattresses would you class as middle ground? I'm not really too fussed about bounce or motion transfer as long as the mattress is good for a heavy side sleeper and doesnt get too warm.
@alanrossreviews4 жыл бұрын
@@smokee3820 the hybrid pro might be a fit, i always worry about side sleepers though who need a softer feel really. A bit softer would be nectar and the simba original. Ergoflex is another option if you are ok with memory foam. Personally i prefer memory foam for side sleeping. Another option is something on the firmer side and fine tune with a topper.

Very useful review Alan, cheers. I have spinal impingement and suffer with it quite badly. The fact that I do a physically demanding job doesn't help me much, so a good semi firm mattress like this appears to be, might just do the trick, helping me get a good nights sleep and not waking up in the night due to pain. I have been sleeping on a cheap memory foam mattress that i got with my box bed from Ikea, which has been ok, but it is getting quite soft now after about 5 years of use. I shall watch a few more reviews of yours before I make my final choice, but this is looking promising so far. Thank you.
