what I wanted to know was that in order to max out education (bring it up to 5) do I need every education building or 1 education building can also max it out if I let the game run, if so could you please tell me which ones can single handedly bring education to 5? Or is every single education building capable to bring education up to 5. also can university bring tech level up to 3 on its own or does it needs college

Grade school, High school, community college and University are all capable of single handedly getting education to 5. You don't need a variety of schools. The simulation doesn't care. The simulation only cares about ALL students going to school. If your city has 1000 eligible students then they all need to be able to get to school (and back home) each game day on a consistent basis. If traffic doesn't allow this then the quantity and type of school is irrelevant. Most of my cities only have community college and I can get to education level 5. University can get tech level 3. It doesn't need a community college.

so if i understood this correctly college brings tech level up to 2 no matter how many colleges you have or how long game runs. Uni brings it up to 3. What about education thought? Do i need library grade school and high school to bring education to 5? do i need all 3 of them or one of them is enough? and if i run game long enough with just library or just grade school or with just high school education level will reach 5

The library, grade school and high school only have an effect on the education level. The community college and university have an effect on both education level and tech level. Most of my cities only have community colleges. They are very cost-effective. A library does have an effect on education level but because so few people visit it compared to an actual school you don't get that big of a benefit. A library is good to support your school system. The community college will only get the tech level up to level two (which is excellent). The community college will get the education level up to level 5. Level 3 tech level is achieved by the University or the Vu Tower

Now one grade school max upgraded is this enough to get my 800 students for a collage and if so do u bulldoze the grade school for the college

A maxed out grade school should have enough desks and capacity to meet the requirement to unlock the community college. I sometimes place two grade schools just to make sure that everybody can get to school. Yes. Once I unlock the community college I get rid of the grade school to save money. A maxed out grade school is expensive.

Wait, so what's the point of a highschool then? Just more students? And if the community colledge provides both education and tech level, why would you ever place anything else (besides a university)?

Exactly!! The vast majority of my cities only have community colleges.

Every single city i have has a "not enough workers problem" then building gets abandoned.Tried everything i could think of. Creating more residential plots is not working. I'm at the point where i don't even have workers maintaining sewage.

You may have too many industrial buildings. Check the data. Get rid of some of the industrial buildings and see if you can get a nice balance.

@@leonarddavis8732 I Thought its positive to have more. I have 1000+ open jobs. It actually makes sense now that you say that. I just placed industrial buildings as far as i could and expected profit either way,it worked for a while I'm getting 12k+ PH just on industrial🤣 but no sims left to work the power and sewage and everything crashed

You want available jobs but not too many. Especially if the city is young.
