Good review! lmao at the Twitter logo comparison :D Hehe, but okay serious, I too wonder if this DAC is worth the premium, over the other small CS43131 dongles. Moondrop DawnPro is 50 usd, and matches the features and form factor 🤔

Thank you as usual! I too would be curious but dont have the dawn pro. But comparing it with the Akliam there is a minor step up in terms of a quality of the sound, what makes me like this is the size.

Sorry i dont have the dc04 pro. But from other reviews it feels like the cda m1p is warmer sounding than dc04 pro.

Hello, since you have reviewed the Aune Yuki before how does the DEW4X compare to it? I know they're at different price range but I am curious how does it stack up to the Yuki.

I am actually making a video on the CS43198 dacs for this exact reason. There are a lot of them in the market. i know its confusing as a consumer. 🙂 but in brief i can say that although you wont get double the sound on yuki from dew4x. But the sound is really a big improvement over the dew4x. One big advantage the dew4x has is the small size. Makes it easy to carry.

That would be hard to say 😅 in terms of percentage. But yuki is quite a bit better than it.
