Hi Simin, love your vids. Armafs imperiale is only sharp when it hasn’t matured. That one matures like a champ. Give it a second try. It becomes very smooth, creamy but not lactonic per say, and brighter. The bitterness and sharpness completely disappears. Mine became really good after about 3 months. It’s also considered a dupe for delina exclusif and not delina. Hopefully you’ll give it a try and let us know.

Drum roll please… Ajwad will be the VERY FIRST and ONLY fragrance (out of hundreds of samples + travel sizes + full bottles) I am decluttering- and it’s not for lack of trying to appreciate and enjoy it. It just nauseated me and I thought, “Life is too short to have to PREPARE oneself for a waft of a perfume.” Like you, I knew there was a strong possibility that I would not like it, but enough people/reviewers were in love with it, and it was so affordable, that I felt I must at least try it. No “ragrets,” as they say 😆

Man, with how many people hate some of my favorite fragrances, it makes me worry I am offending others when I wear things like Opulent Red or Qaed al Fursan Unlimited. The ones I couldn't even give to my kids because I couldn't stand smelling them on anyone are Raghba (smelled too much like church incense) and Nuit de Passion (I really don't like chypres, modern or otherwise).

Hello Simin. Greetings from Atlanta. Love your channel. I purchased Yara ( original ) and Ajwad while visiting the UAE in 2022 and I don’t like them at all. I thought they smelled good back then, but the smell is so offensive, especially Ajwad. Maceration did not help with these fragrances, but at least the bottles look cute on my perfume shelf.

I'm crazy about Oud Mood, Amethyst and now also Opulent red. When I first bought Opulent red, it smelled like a mosquito repellant but after macerating for only a few weeks it turned into something totally different. For my nose is now fruity, smooth and sensual which is weird as at first I couldn't stand it. Now I'm even tempted to try Opulent Oud. I seem to have an addiction to oud😂also loving Arabians Tonka with that strong saffron opening. It's crazy expensive though so I'm going to try Noir d'arabie as it's said to be a good dupe.

I laughed while watching it because I like Shagaf Oud, Oud Mood but that's good because everyone can find something different for themselves. Although my fragrance preferences are really different from yours, I completely agree with Qaed Al Fursan unlimited. I accidentally purchased that one thinking it was Badee Al oud honor & glory😭😭 I got them hella mixed up. Even after nearly 5 months of maturing, it’s awful to me and I’m so glad I was able to do a fragrance swap with someone and they really liked it! Crazy how different our perception of scents can be! Also, I hate Sakeena😭😭 She smells like dry red wine. Like Malbec. Orange where, girl?!! Overripe? More like rotting😭😭 It’s not giving fruit to me haha, ily though💗🫶🏼

I would love for you to do a video tutorial about Arabian fragrant notes! I have had a love for fragrances of all kinds since I was young, but I couldn’t never decipher specific notes the way you do and I WANT TO be able to do that! Like my nose think is ok my guts get torn in a gagging way. Same happens with the chant. Cant get close to it. I sprayed it in my hand inside my room and i kept smelling it in the air, couldn't get rid of the smell. I was thinking now i have to move 😂 Opulent red my sister got it. Dear Simin, it is definitely about each person's sense of smell, it’s surprising how some people love a perfume and others hate the same scent. Many people have a gift, and can identify a lemon from an orange in a single spray, other people don't even notice that there is a citrus ingredient in the fragrance. Now with exposure on the networks, many of us are learning a lot from those people who can break down a perfume and perceive at least 80% of its notes. I love the iteration of the audience, the comments and the questions they ask, that's very interesting. ••••Rare Tiffany By Afnan••• for me it’s a very strong perfume, it’s invasive and intolerable, it suffocates me and gives me a terrible headache 🤢 you have to try this perfume before buying it, it does have a very nice 😍 green bottle, nothing else. Thank you for your work and honest opinion on trending perfumes, we are sharing a little of the great industrial world of perfumery. Big hug 🤗 🥰🌹

I generally like sweet, gourmand, spicy, woody fragrances, with some occasional floral or fruit mixed in. Usually when I declutter, it's after I do my little test. Lol. I'll spray it on my skin for the day and have my boyfriend tell me if it smells nice on me. I ask him 2 questions, how does it smell in general, and does he like it personally. Its interesting because he don't know anything about them and just gives an unbiased answer. Sometimes I get so caught up in the notes and everything that I make it too complicated. Sometimes things I liked in the bottle didn't mix well with my chemistry, and sometimes it smelled weird in the bottle but good on me. The last one I decluttered was Opulent oud in the black bottle. For some reason, on me it smelled like burning black licorice as well as turning masculine when it mixed with my chemistry. I think back when I bought it, it was labeled unisex, at least on the site I bought it from. I just rechecked the notes and it's labeled for men now.

Hi , my hun❤ . Love this video. I will always love Opulent Red, but I do not get any rubber, metallic or pastic notes. From the start I loved 😍 this. I have just started my 2nd bottle 😊. There is oud, pink pepper ( which some people may smell as sharp or metallic) and hints of leather to my nose, patchouli and of course a fruit and flower cocktail as well as the cognac and other notes. I can see why it is so polarising and is a bit of a noir beast, but I and my body chemistry love ❤️ this. My dear friend in Germany bought this and Amethyst after I told her about the 2 loves of my life 😅. Thankfully, she loves them just as much. I had warned her 😂. I do get compliments when I wear it as I started to worry that I may smell terrible to some people as the perfume has those polarising notes. I think it is wonderful that we all love different perfumes or we would all smell the same , I would hate that 😅. Love Afnan Rare Tiffany and agree with you 100%. But I recall when it arrived the smell of the perfume cap was terrible which surprised me. I carefully sprayed some in the air , worried it may smell like the cap to me but no, a beautiful perfume, so I doused myself ❤. Love Rare Passion ❤. Khaltat RB I love ❤. I wear this a lot on cold days. It turns into a warm scent on my skin, but I can see that it can be polarising. Shaghaf Oud was my 3. ME perfume , was a touch too much BUT loved the dry down from the start. But the top notes give me a slight headache. I bought Oud Mood, hoping that it would suit me but I like this less. I love Ameer Al Oud Intense instead. I will revisit Shaghaf Oud. I like Lattafa Oudain. So I like cold oud notes. Hate the perfume with the unlimited in the name. Can't write the name or I will feel ill😅 Thank you my beautiful sis from another miss, smoochies to Markus and purrs from our kitties. Love and Light ❤to you always 💛 from sunny Tasmania 🌞 Tia ❤

🤦🏽♀️ Oh dear lord, you love Lattafa Silky Rose but you don't like Delina 😮😅😂 Silky Rose is like generic celebrity scent, in it I smelled JLo or Britney Spears perfumes. I couldn't stand it. I blind bought it coz I loved the bottle and I fell for the name 😢 I thought I was gonna smell a subdued sweet fresh rose. But it wasn't 😐 I had to use it as a freshener in my bedroom just to finish it 😂 Instead I could definitely recommend Swiss Arabian Rose 01 🎉🎉🎉 Rose 01 is so elegant and so feminine and the perfect rose 🌹 imho!

@SiminShaikh (@Simin Shaikh) Hello beautiful! Happy to be able to see your face again! I've been having a major flare-up of all kinds of symptoms, new inflammation and more since October or so. Haven't been online in ages, unfortunately. Around 7mo. Only relatively good side effects (for my wallet) of all the physical misery is that I haven't bought perfume for those same 7 months 😮. My last 2 purchases were Mugler Alien Goddess Intense (okay now that it has matured) and YSL- Black Opium Le Parfum (yum! ). I, however, still have unopened blind buys from last summer, so... Anyway, I want to try to binge as many of your videos as I can (so sad I couldn't give my input for this poll. As you know, I have *opinions* 😂), but I still have very little energy and sleep a lot. Can you perhaps recommend which ones I shouldn't miss, what to definitely watch? That would be great ❤. (PS. You get plum, booziness, and powderiness from Royal Blends?? I have it and like it in moderation, but I definitely don't get those scents. My experience is a very sweet vanilla with coconutty accents, some pineapple-cinnamon in the background, and a clear balsamic-aromatic accord, supported by soft coumarin. For summer it's on the heavy side - for Westerners at least - but on my skin, it creates a soft scent bubble, not a loudspeaker of fragrance 😅. My review can be found - unfortunately I'm not allowed to post links on YT - on Parfumo dot com by typing in Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Blends and then go to the Petite Pinup review ( here's the link with extra spaces, maybe that'll help: www . parfumo . com / Perfumes / Lattafa/ Khaltaat_Al_Arabia_Royal_Blends/ reviews/268454 ).

My babeeeeee! ❤❤❤ I was thinking about you a few days ago. It is a cosmic intervention that I received your message. You know, I will always and forever be thankful for all the advise you had given me when I began my channel. It helped me grow so much. And you always encouraged me and I will never forget that. I am so happy to hear from you ❤ I am so sorry to hear that you have been in a flare for such a long time. I cannot even imagine. If my flare lasts over 3 days I become lifeless. You are very strong. I just read your review and I wish you could start your channel on YT. You will help so many people decide what to blind buy. Your review was so descriptive, it literally painted a picture for me. (BTW, I wonder of we have a batch problem going on here, coz mine has no Pineapple or Cinnamon). Thank you for taking time and messaging me babe. I know how tough it is to even muster the courage to do things during flareups (and am thanking YT for not deleting/ ghosting your comment lol) Sending healing energy you way... Sending warm light your way... Always yours, Sim ❤

@SiminShaikh My sister, the universe must have conspired to connect us again 💖. You always make me smile - from reading your sweet replies and the sense of humour you have in your videos. I couldn't be happier when I saw how much your channel has grown! You're doing great and have created a comfortable place to enjoy knowledgeable reviews. If I helped in any way, that's amazing 👏. They often say that "those that can't, teach". It's a bit of a negative comment, as in: you're not talented enough to create xyz, so you ended up being a boring teacher. But I'm taking it to heart in a different way: if I'm physically not capable anymore, at least I can help others achieve their dreams. I've done so in a variety of forms the last 15 years, with volunteering for certain mental health groups as a coach, by teaching people to write for the Web, help them with language as Dutch as a 2nd language tutor, by styling acquaintances for job interviews or even just 'finding themselves', and some things that compare to what I did for you, like conceptualising sites, book covers, or just tips for whatever. It does give sóme satisfaction. I wish I could start my blog, though. I've had a domain name (and paying for it) for 6 years now, after I quit as a writer professionally completely because my body couldn't handle it anymore. Alas, I'm getting sicker and sicker every year :'(. With my blog, I want to create a "digital home" of sorts for anyone who feels marginalised, whether because of a handicap or illness, their body weight, their skin colour, their income, their age... etc, and show all of them they're worth self-care - and how to do so in a practical and affordable way - and to give tips on what to enjoy. Think books, outings, scents, and reviews for those. It'll be the place to relax for 5, 15, or 50 minutes before real life takes over again. It would give me the opportunity to write (my 1st love. I hate being on camera, brrr), to invest time into my interests, and to help others. Even if I could post 1-2 a month, that would give me a purpose. Unfortunately, I fear it won't happen anymore. I'm thankful every single day that I have my two babies, my cats, without whom life wouldn't have any shine, right now. But their unconditional love and intuitiveness gives me so much. As soon as I'm in a lot of pain or have the umpteenth migraine, they come lie with me, purr when needed, give me their form of kisses. They're amazing. And frigging funny 😁. (When I saw you had a cat, I immediately thought: aha! Figures. Another cat person ;). ) Okay, cutting it short! It's 3AM here, but I couldn't sleep. That's the irony of suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome as well as insomnia phases 😒. Then again, that's when I usually read, write, and watch YT... so, there is a silver lining. I'm going to check out one of your summer fragrance videos (I believe I spotted one of my favourites, Sabah Al Ward, in the thumbnail 😀) and see if there are musthaves. I have a few delicious warm weather perfumes, but the amount of "would buy again"'s for spring/ summer is pretty low compared to the autumn/ winter ones (wearing Intoxicate by Khadlaj today, a definite repurchase fragrance! ). I heard Zara has some excellent new perfumes again as well. I've scored 2 great vanilla perfumes last year, but your girl always needs more. Just like Fils de Joie by Serge Lutens was an amazing jasmine find, but I could always enjoy a few extra 😜🤭. If I can make it happen, I'll try to comment a little more on your videos, be 'there'. But know that even if I'm not, you're in my 💜. Much love, Djamila

Honor and Glory is so cloying. The tumeric note in it makes it unwearable. Maybe i should have let it macerate instead of selling it.
