Simmons Records Retrospective

In the late 80s, Gene Simmons started a record label featuring such artists as House of Lords and Silent Rage. In this video, I take a look back at the handful of albums released under this label.

I'm surprised that Gene didn't offer Wendy O. Williams a spot on summons Record s after he retooled a lot of KISS songs and made W.O.W. with her inb1985.

Informative video. I was aware of the label and a few of the bands. Only one I had was the first two House of Lords albums. There just ok now

I remember watching a show on Much Music called "DisBand" and the band Stereos got signed to Gene's Label. Was that still Simmons Records? The show would aired in the late 2000's early 2010's

Love the first House of Lords album! So many great, catchy songs but I was never able to find many of their follow-ups and kinda lost interest. Silent Rage has some great stuff but I never realized they were on Simmons Records!

I couldn't disagree more. I have had the CD for Gypsy Rose Prey for many years now and it's one of the best rock albums I've ever listened to. Not a bad song on the album and I still listen to it frequently. I seldom disagree with you but I felt the need to do so on this one.
