Baker is a completely different person when he's off screen and speaking with his native Australian accent. His suave sexiness is so much more in evidence when he's doing an American accent. He was utterly gorgeous in Devil Wears Prada. Less so when the Australian accent comes out.

I can honestly say I don't have a gay bone in my body, and I used to be in love with Rose Byrne. But whatever's happened to her must be something bad because I found I'd rather look at Simon when they were on the screen together! Sure he's a good looking guy with a very easy relaxed way about him (and I'm jealous of his bloody hair), but Rose was so damned sexy I was totally obsessed!!! I have to say I'm not in love with Simon Baker, because I think he's been acting his way through life....Playing shy because he's afraid if he opens his mouth, people will know who he is. I don't know who he is. However, Some of his characters that have made him famous are definitely Love material.... Guy and Patrick Jane will go down in history along with Cary Grant, Errol Flynn, Rudolph Valentino...and I sure wish he would do more Chick Flicks while he still has his looks. And yes, in 2021 he is at his peak for stunningly handsome. Givency really knew what to do with his looks, even if he doesn't. There is plenty of time left in his life to do the films he wants to do...and have more children that he wants to have. He's spreading his seed around like Clint Eastwood did. No harm in that. He's entitled to a second life, just like anyone else. But what happens when he's gone ? Just a faded star on the cement of Hollywood. Instead of some great films to be admired for decades to come. You are never gone if people remember you. ...
