Oh, my God, if it could be again the 1970’s, when we had time and energy to change the world ! Now, 2024, ……. all I have left are my tears 😭and my broken heart 💔.

My mother in law has Alzheimer's and I put this concert on for her every day after breakfast. She doesn't remember much but seeing her sing along to these songs brings us all so much joy.

hempseed oil.. blue poppy seeds ground in.. apply to skin.. take internally.. pills and potions don't work.. hempseed oil provides all the nutrients our bodies require for life.. poppy seeds provide the other half.. especially the neurotransmitters that bridge the gap between nerve cells.. called Qi in Chinese medicine.. the flow of information requires them for our body to work.. especially those areas where memory is stored.. I did the same for my Nana. Along with Neil Diamond and Harry Belafonte every evening. She passed listening to The Sound of Silence in her own home surrounded by her children, grandchildren and even one of her great grandchildren, with a huge smile on her face. Now anytime I hear these songs I'm immediately 7 years old dancing in the living room with my tipsy Nana lol!

I grew up listening to Paul & Art although the 1970's, 80's, 90's and well into the 2and decade following the year 2000. Whenever I hear some of those old favorites ( The Boxer, Bridge over troubled water, The sound of silence, just to name a few) I just melt into a state of relaxation that almost NO OTHER singing duo can achieve! Even long after they "go into that harmonious void of unforgettable harmony", I will still find myself humming or singing the lyrics of whom I classify as the finest harmony duo in American folksining history!

I listen to this when I get anxious. It calms me down. I went to see them in the concert in the park in The Park in New York City in 1980. Out of all the concerts I've seen , which was a lot, this con set was the best. No don't!!!!

Love these guys. So glad I got to see them on their all too brief reunion tour. Even then you could tell they were hardly speaking to each other on stage. Very sad. This concert appears to be really hit and miss. Badly recorded and badly shot - real shame. Even the great songs come off lifeless and flat. I have seen Simon in his solo concerts several times. Always great. His voice was never that strong but it’s really gone now at his age. I’m glad he’s stopped touring. Any interviews I have seen with Garfunkel he always comes off as bitter and arrogant. I’m glad I will always remember them in their 70s heyday.

You have an interesting perspective. What made them so angry with each other? Was it legal issues over rights to the songs etc? When was this concert? I saw Paul in Duluth, MN when he toured with Bob Dylan in 1999. There were amazing look-a-likes of Bob and Paul walking through the crowd as people posed for pictures with them.

There is nothing like this today. 60’s, Simon and Garfunkel, Elvis, The Beatles, The Stones, the Bee Gees, list goes on and on… what do they have today? Rappers using foul, violent language, shooting each other or getting thrown in jail! 😢
