The camera should always focus on the hands. People that don't play the piano are absolutely fascinated by the hands. They cannot figure out how you can get two hands to work in sync like that.

For a bit I didn't really agree with people about the cinematography being distracting, but I see what they mean now. Everything about the cinematography is fine except one thing. Hold shots longer. The expectation is that people get bored, but with this kinda piece being able to stare into nothing for a bit is fine. Just don't switch cameras as often.

This interpretation is THE reference. I try to explain why : -1- this particular piano, though it is a bit out of tune in some treebles, this Pleyel has definitely an incredible sound. Yes, I’m jealous -2- this interpretation is technically almost perfect and fluent which is brilliant, knowing Liszt’s arrangements are always difficult even for masters -3-i find exquisite that some parts alternatively makes think about Beethoven, then Bach, then Schubert styles. The performer perfectly adapts to those style changes. Btw, I’ve heard dozens of 7th symphony adaptations for piano by Liszt from different performers, and this one is definitely faaaar faaaaaar the best ever

There's a lot to love about this performance, but the piano is definitely out of tune... You could easily sync this same footage to a studio recording of yourself, and it would be heavenly! :)

It was good for audio listening, the video component was disappointing. I would have liked to see how you use the thumbs to carry on the middle theme while the cellos and flutes are doing their own thing on the piano, but they were glossed over by the video production. Anyway, you obviously have mastered this little piece with no difficulties and I enjoyed listening to it. I think the tempo was a bit quick. For all you accomplished, I'm giving you an A minus.
