@@6CaptainFalcon9 that's bull. the ownership are well aware the magnitude of the task Arne Slot has ahead of him. there's no chance FSG expects Slot to deliver in his first season after taking over from Klopp. miracle if he can even maintain what Klopp has done. FSG will give him all the time he needs. it's a no brainer.

@joncoish Simon says they'll be pressure from outside Liverpool & in the media. The people of Liverpool have never concerned themselves with any of their opinions. As long as the fans can see what he's trying to implement in the team & can see his team is moving in the right direction & improving. He'll get backed to the hilt. The more the media & pundits pile in on him. The more support he'll get within Liverpool.

Many online fans are plastic fans in Asia and wherever else, many of whom do not understand the culture of Liverpool or the way Liverpool do things. It doesn't matter what these 'fans' think, they do not represent the views of proper Liverpool supporters.

He deserves atleast 4 seasons to get things running and I think he will get it. I honestly don't expect him to start winning cups in his first or second season, but by the third, there will be signs of what he can deliver. I also think that he will be a good fit for the club and might end up staying longer than expected.

Sadly I think he's right. First, cause he's talking about the noise Slot will receive by the outside world, not from the Liverpool fans, and we know already that the media will start to licking its lips if Slot doesn't produce good results almost instantly (they love to criticise, it doesn't matter who you are -Haaland last season is a good example of this). Secondly and sadly, I think many Liverpool fans (I'm not saying all or even half of them, but yes, a lot) will start to complain about him as soon as they start to see bad results. The sensation I have is he's a good manager, but tbh I wouldn't put my hands into the fire by afirming he will succeed; I hope he does, as a Liverpool fan that I am, and I think that as long as we preserve our identity on the pitch, that could be enough at the beginning. Usually if an identity remains and everyone involved works together (as it seems the case with Edwards, Hughs, the dynamic among players and staff members, etc.) There's a chance we can see progress and let's hope that leads to trophies.

Fsg aren't the type to splash cash around. If they make a choice they tend to stand by it to prevent spending more. So Jordan once again talking for the sake of getting comments as it boosts the shows presence 😂

the way they dropped, fcukin hell. They weren't in most pundits predictions for a top 3/4 finish. They fell short at the end simple. No disgrace to what they done until the last 3 weeks of the season. Until then it was touch and go at the top of the table. But they'll be back competing next year, and lets see if Arne hits the ground running with a couple of new faces too.

If Simon Jordan was able to factually backup his claims, I and everyone else would be more inclined to believe more of what he says. Sadly, he can't. He can only speak from what experience he had at Crystal Palace. Under him, Crystal Palace hired 8 Managers. 5 were sacked and 3 walked out. That in itself is a telling sign of his "Management" of a Club. Thankfully, we as Liverpool Fans ARE patient, and recognize that each new Manager that comes in, needs time. Look at what Klopp, Benitez and Houllier won, respectively. It's down to the Players to invest in Arne Slot's idea's etc, and work hard for him and themselves, like they did under Klopp more recently.

I know it will be an unpopular comment but I kinda agree with him. Yes LFC will obviously give him time we aren’t Chelsea…but there also can’t be some huge drop off either. He’s got a really nice squad and with a couple moves there’s no reason LFC shouldn’t be challenging at the top. I don’t ever want to see LFC dropping the standards ever again. 4th most valued club itw - most trophies in English football- it’s time for our owners & everybody to act like it. Prob two diff conversations but I just don’t want us ever to settle for anything but being at the top.
