Yeah? Then just dig a bit deep. City's wage structure has bonus only related to trophies and only top personal honours. Other clubs have very wide varities of bonus and very high share too. Ex: if Liverpool had won the titles, Salah's bonus would had been around twice of his yearly wage. With City, KDB and Haaland would get around 50% of their salary as bonus. Another 25% for golden boot. And this is because City has very limited net spend in the last 3-4 years, so their wage structure is now not volatile. As the case of United, well that's that. Nobody knows what those guys are doing.
@Pitsy

@@Pitsy I am just saying that City being second has a reason because showing wages is only half truth unless you include the bonuses too. Anyways, City's wage structure is fine. They have like 60% of the revenue into it. Which is very very healthy.

City fans never argue that it's not about money, it is of course. What we want is for other teams to admit the same instead of believing myths that any success their own team ever had was achieved by finding orphans abandoned outside their ground, signing them up for 50p, paying them in bags of crisps and waving the magic football wand over them. Any mid table club that wants to compete at the level City are at will need a similar amount of cash injected to mitigate the money generated over years of success by the handful of traditionally dominant clubs. It's the cost of doing business at that level. I hope that City's dream comes true for some other clubs. This is part of the romance of the game surely? If it does happen to let's say the likes of Sunderland or Leeds and Jordan wants to contemptuously disrespect them by saying they're 'manufactured' I suggest he avoids both cities. If anything City fans whose club attracted 27k per game in the third tier have been overly kind to him and admirably tolerant of his mendacious twaddle. Jordan's own team, Crystal Palace have never achieved an average attendance over 27k since the time of his ownership to the present day.

Manchester City and Chelsea Have both changed the dynamics of the Premier league ( Abramovich was kicked out ) the nation state ownership have been banned after the one two punch of Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia. Think about it logically Manchester City owners have more money than 18 owners combined , and Newcastle owners have more money than Manchester City and the other 18 owners combine. Where does it stop. I’m sure lots of thick twats that support Newcastle and City don’t care about football. They care about their clubs. I actually care about football more than my club. You generally need money and alot of it to be continually successful but rightly said it's not all about that. City haven't spent as much as other teams over the most recent period but have won more than anyone by a country mile. Even if all the top clubs had spent exactly the same we would either see City being even better or the other teams being worse, either way City would still be winning. That comes down to how the money is deployed, who is making decision and who is trusted to carry out the objectives. City have been best in class for years and that is down to people doing their jobs at the highest level, has nothing to do with if Mancini was paid more than was was reported or if sponsors were spending more than was reported. The best thing to happen to every other club was City to get charges (alot of which are hilarious and will be thrown out and others have to be proven) as fans and media can just throw out "115 charges" as an excuse rather than looking at themselves (which I bet if the PL did they'd find charges they could throw at everyone). Get good or get gone.
@Samivermusic
@Samivermusic 16 күн бұрын
I would agree city have been very good on the pitch and had great success however you stating it has nothing to do with with mancini and sponsors would be incorrect if city are found guilty of the PL allegations. It would give increased spending on players etc that would not be available without. That said city have not been found guilty of anything and I am not implying guilt just that if true they would have had an advantage over those complying.
@BlueBloodPenn
@BlueBloodPenn 16 күн бұрын
@@Samivermusic Only if the increased spending was significant enough that would have stopped the club being able to buy them in the first place. We have no idea to the finance limits that the charges discuss. If the over spend breaks the rule but by an extremely small amount (in relative football terms) then that makes no difference to being able to buy a player or not. The rules are also inheritably unfair against clubs that want to grow and have the capital to do so in the first place. You can labor the club with mountains of debt and let a club rot but if an owner wants to invest then your hamstrung. So even if City are found guilty of overspending, to me the lying would be the worse charge since the rules are not fit for purpose to begin with and just change every year anyway.

@@BlueBloodPenn yeah in the case of mancini it is alleged to be as small as 1million which is nothing really however it could be a lot larger if some things the der speigel docs are not completely fabricated. Nobody knows until the hearing and any subsequent media coverage. As for ffp I think uefa made an error calling it fair play especially as they acknowledge in one of their yearbooks that they know bigger established clubs have more revenue. I still think they did need to do it after their financial report in 2008 showed 50% of their member clubs were running at losses of which 20% were at serious financial risk. It does not work though and I think a lot of options like a salary cap would be challenged by players /agents and imo the likely winners their would be the players. It's a mess

Why do you expect City to spend more than everyone else and they already have the best coach and the best foundation ? Once Pep, Silva & KDB go , there will spend the most again like when City needed them full backs and they spent £250m. That’s what having unlimited money is there for.

It’s always been about money (even back in the day perhaps) and you’re kidding yourself if you think it’s not. Finally someone says it. The top clubs in each league has waaaaay more of it comparatively than the rest. Does it mean it guarantees success not always but that’s where management steps in and there’s only a few like Pep that can achieve it. Not even a City fan but do admire what they’ve been able to do consistently 😮 There are outliers to this statement (a team outside of the big six or four or whatever it is now) but that’s seldom if ever true.

Then if we are going to use that argument that “ it is all about money”, then why people are crying foul when people spend their money to get the best coach / manager and got good players ( i would argument that Pep didnt buy the best players in their positions in the world , he bought the best players according to him that would play his style of football or philosophy). Yes it is all about and it is business, now in any kind of business deals its rare to find morals or people with conscious. So people must not play angels and say City did not do thing the “ right “ way. I would agree with Pep before FFP every team that had money was gunning or chasing the best players and unfortunately those are the teams he mentioned including spanish teams and italian teams. And the is a reason why FFP came along its because Fifa wanted fairness in the sport. Well in sport the is no fairness, you do whatever you can to gain an advantage to your opponent or opposition. Its a game and you so whatever you can to gain and advantage and win. Thats why teams chase the best players and managers. 🤷🏽‍♂️

The reason Fergie, Wenger & Abramovich didn’t win 4 in a row was because they didn’t have access to the weakest era in Premier league history. There is no guarantee in football if you have money. But you need money! And then you need a manager as Pep. City is the best football style in world football. And successful. Only when they are stupid in penalties they are out. This is PL and not Scottish Carot League,Croatian League or Ligue PSG!!! The most difficult league in the world. All the opponents of City plays and stays with 11 players in his own half. You have to break and destroy that.This is really difficult because 90% of the teams are counterattack teams like Real,Arsenal or Hotlosers. Only Liverpool not. Therefore Klopp Liverpool against Pep City was the biggest match in World Football. Both played attacking football. Not Barca against Real because Real plays always counterattacking football in these matches. City is the number 1!!! If you want the PL-you have to let City behind you. The FA Cup and CL the same situation. That is the truth!!!
