Why ask Simon Jordan about this, he has no clue what the Palace fans are worried about or why we are worried about it. All he does is repeat that the same nonsense about how he couldn't keep palace in the prem, and how he doesn't like to talk about palace in case he's seen as bitter. All of it is irrelevant to what is happening now. Poor leadership from parish to bring Hodgson back after he had months to look for a new manager. Poor leadership from Hodgson with game management, youth player management, players who've been injured, the list goes on. And yes we are afraid of relegation, Luton are getting points consistently and you can't count Everton out.

Any team can easily have one bad year in 10 and get relegated. Birmingham City are one such case. We were doing brilliantly well winning the League Cup against Arsenal 2010/11 then getting relegated on 39 points, how unlucky was that as no one gets relegated on 39 points and have never recovered. Bournemouth got relegated under really good manager in Eddie Howe. Unless you the ellette of the ellette you are always in danger of relegation. Sh1t sometimes happens.

Forest fan here ; What Cooper did in his first 24 months with us was almost a miracle. Remember that on September 20th 2021, Forest were BOTTOM of the 2nd Division. He got us promoted and we stayed up with 5 points to spare. BUT......our performances in the PL were 75% poor, and in 56 Games in the PL Forest under Cooper only won 3 games by more than ONE goal. We were quite boring to watch - and it was only the eurphoria and novelty of being back in the PL after 23 years that made the whole experience seems better than it was ! Cooper is a decent manager, but at PL level, I'm not so sure.

ive liked roy at palace. but now he's undefendable. ultimately parish is the one at fault here, for extending his contract. Roy is supposed to be the guy who sets a team up, to make it hard for teams to play against. 11 conceded in 3 games, tells its own story. Any opponent coming off that pitch versus palace should know theyve been in a game. Palace are easy to play and score against, which makes roy pointless now. The players should be ashamed of themselves too. Its not about losing as such. Its the manner of a defeat. Simon’s comment about what fans think theyre entitled to...they ARE entitled to the players giving 100% when they cross that white line. Fans arent stupid, and can see if the players have put in a shift or not. Palace fans generally, are realistic and down to earth, about the club. They don’t expect top 4 or european football. After their longest spell in the top division, they just want a few seasons, of winning a few games, and not flirting with relegation every year. Loving simon’s digs at parish btw.

I find it quite ridiculous and offensive that folks like Roy Hodgson and Neil Warnock are even employed in the football pyramid! There is a plethora of English talent within the football leagues to fill vacancies such as these and it is offensive to me that these 'old timers' are still involved in managing football clubs. They are holding back young talented football people. At best they could be guests in a punditry capacity on TV! Does Hodgson need the money so badly? Only he can answer that. I feel that you are missing an extremely important point here. By the way, I am 59 and not ageist in anyway, but it really angers me that they are still there, hogging jobs which could be done with real zest and enthusiasm by people half their age (even women).

He constantly attributes a singular opinion to a homogenous group of people, as though thousands of people all collectively think the same thing. Pathetic and fallacious line of logic to ever build an argument from. The difference is that Graeme uses his lived experience to gauge the kind of conversations that people might have behind the scenes (of course he will get it wrong sometimes), whereas Simon will just invent entire narratives and scenarios to suit the particular argument he wants to peddle. Simon's habit of doing that is much more intellectually dishonest than Graeme's. Graeme hypothetically speculates whereas Simon makes hypothetical assertions.
