Simon's 325i E36 Trackcar! | Walkaround | Onboard

In this video we will be showcasing Simon's amazing 325i E36 Trackcar!
Probably my biggest inspiration to building my own car was Simon's E36. After riding shotgun with this car there was no doubt about what my E36 had to become.
Anyway here are some simple specs/mods from the car:
BMW E36 325i M50B25 (Non vanos)
M3 headers
M3 Supersprint Race exhaust
BBS RC304 wheels
AP Coilovers
H&R Swaybars
Stahlus Halfcage
I am probably missing more than half the mods haha.

Great car. Only needs improvement on brakes, maybe e46 330i fronts and rears and stroke it to 3 litres perhaps. Otherwise this car is the best modded non m3 I've seen on KZbin. Worthy of praise.

He says the brakes are holding up pretty good, he also installed brake cooling after this video so they last surprisingly long. It’s definitely a very clean build, no nonsense, just driving focused

Great looking thing... I have an almost identical car. Alpine white but sedan. Same wheels, same exhaust, same headers, same buckets seats, same wing but without risers. 🙏

Damn I need that exhaust set up. It sounds so good. So he have his build documented anywhere. I’d like some more info on his exhaust and how he has his o2 set up (assuming he’s obd1 and has one sensor)

keeping the chasis strenght as you have but with a bit softer suspension setup in front...a good coilovers makes the diference...double spring and thick ones

It's called the LTW/Class 2 wing. They don't make them anymore so you would have to get a replica. The vendors differ from the EU and the USA

Man, this is Such a complete trackday car... 02:30 i just got these wheels too.. BBS RC 304 for my Z3... Only just 7.4 kg!!! I am trying to figure out what is the difference between RC302, RC 303 and RC 304... The look the same to me...i tried to google it...but nothing comes out...

Yeah it’s a great car. The difference is the sizes and concave 304 is 17x8J ET38 302 is 17x8,5J ET18 (concave) 303 is 18 inch but don’t know the exact sizes

@@Sphyn0x I think that's a bit much. If you take a good semislick tire they already look really fat with 225/45. What you can try is 235/40 or 235/45 if you want a little more rubber

Haha doesn't sound logically but the Recaro Pole Position seats are indeed more comfortable then the stock seats. It's just a bit harder to get in and out

They are BBS, Apex actually copied them from BBS

Believe it or not, APEX wheels are BBS replicas. So the originals and the original design is from BBS and they have been making them for over 20 years as aftermarket or for stock bmw models (e46 m3 csl stock wheels are BBS)

BBS ones have the brand engraved on the center of the rims. Apex ones don’t, I know cause I’ve got both
