My Keiko looks exactly the same. I got her and her brother about 7 hrs ago. She looked just like your Simon. As she aged she lost her creamy coat and darkened alot, like Simon. Then she got the tabby stripes. However now she is changing colours again and her face and front legs are becoming brindle and so a little lighter. Her brother is black and as he ages, is getting some areas of apricot. The father was black and the mother was Siamese-ish. Doubt she was full Siamese. Keiko as she ages also has become more tabby and gotten the striped socks and I call it mahogany wood head markings. Truly beautiful animals! We are all so fortunate! ❤

My siamese was a feral kitty out on the street's. One day, my husband was outside and found the kitty in our driveway. Burnt fur and hungry, we took him in . Made a litter box out of the shoe box top, and the rest is a beautiful 15 years and going strong . Love you Maxx. 😍

We just took in a feral cat who took over our house so fast, he acts like he's been with us for years. Toby is an orange tabby. He sleeps and eats in the house, only lets me pet him but is the sweetest boy! And he's so good - has never pooped in the house, gets up on nothing and plays with his toys like a crazy cat. He's very talkative but you can't cuddle him. I am very shocked to think Simon was feral as most shelters won't take or socialize feral cats.
@SimontheSiameseCat Жыл бұрын
Oh interesting. I’m glad to hear that things are going well with your Toby ❤ With Simon, I think the fact that he was so young made a difference. With my wife and I he is super comfortable and affectionate, but otherwise he still can be skittish.

We have 2 strictly indoor house cats. One is a blue seal point Siamese named "Fishsticks" (our daughter named her after "Grumpy Cat" whose real name was Tartar Sauce). We also have a male orange and white tabby cat who just showed up one day in 2022. He was overall healthy however he was very skinny (could see his bones). He is the most loving cat amd his purr is the loudest I've ever heard 😻😻

Mom tamed a feral manx barncat through brute force - three hour drive from pickup to home, holding him while wearing welding gloves to prevent shredding. By the time we got home, Max was her cat, and mom was Max's person. Can't recommend the procedure, but it worked for them...

@@SimontheSiameseCat-- there are a LOT of Siamese kitties in my neighborhood's feral colony. Mostly the lynx-point type like Bubbles due to cross-breeding with gray and brown tabbies, which make up the majority of the colony. A friend said that one specific neighbor has a male Siamese as a pet and did NOT neuter him... so that's probably why they are so many meezers around, lol.
@CatalinaFOIA2 ай бұрын
@PaninaroAurora in the feral cat colony in our small town there are several flame point Siamese kittens; they are so cute. Nearly all white except for the light orange tips on the ears and stripes on the head and the bright blue eyes ❤

My Siamese looks more like your other baby but was also feral! Most likely abandoned by her mommy as she has thumbs and cross eyes with bad shaking. Literally the cutest cat I’ve ever had tho! But also like a tornado trapped in a ball of fur.. She still is very much not friendly with most people except with myself and oddly enough one of our really good family friends. Otherwise VERY shy and stand off ish. But soooo loving with the two of us lol

Not being able to adapt is only a matter of how much effort we put into it. If you give a little of your time and patience with a lot of love, the cat will very quickly adopt you as its butler. 😊❤ P.S. In Finland, there are also special rules when you want to adopt an animal from a shelter, so I understand that. 🙂
