So good to see Maggie well enough to get back out with you on a day camp. That potato cooker is really clever. I love the way the latch works to be able to use it as a hook point as well for hanging or moving it around.

What a Successful Meal!! Like that potato cooker . Miss Maggie got a big treat Salmon 🍣 I just had some this week but it was a little salty elevated my BP some. I needed the Omega 3 anyway. The meal you cooked was a winner I enjoyed seeing Maggie again. Good show Simon good change of pace.

And here's this primitive native of Nz, still putting spuds directly into hot coals on an open fire. My education has been improved. Actually Simon, I melt real butter and stir in chopped up garlic chives, and place in a wide mouth bottle and chill it down in the fridge the night before. Once my potatoes are cooked, take them out of the ash,split and place the butter mixture in, add a smidgen of white pepper. Salt to taste, then you eat it. Hot.!! Anyway yet another great episode mate. Take care. Atb from down here.

A true gourmet meal. I used to bake spuds by wrapping in Aluminium foil (a bit frowned on medically these days) but that slicing and inter-leaving with other things (there could be bacon for example) is a good idea worth trying. Great video, nice to see Maggie out for a walk
