This will make you laugh. I was watching this video and my 9yo daughter came in to watch it with me. She asked me if I was watching Simon a Bloke in the woods and I said yes. She then asked me pointing at Andy ‘is that Simon’s dad’. I laughed out loud. Maybe don’t tell Andy…😂😂😂

I envy the both of you, Simon and Andy. As an old geezer (82 yrs) here in the US, all of my camping partners have passed or not able to camp anymore. I would love to camp with the two of you sometime, but that is not possible. Enjoy your life and make all the memories you can. Some day it will end and you will have to reflect back on those memories. Cheers from the US.

@@simonablokeinthewoods If/when you do, you should get some of your beer supplies from Aberystwyth - there's a really nice pub that also sells various bottled and canned beers called Bottle and Barrel. They have a pretty large fridge of various ales, and they sell some quite nice lagers - Geipel Bock is a pretty tasty 6.5% dark lager. They also sell some nice mead, and various Welsh distilled spirits.

I worried you two might go "Dukes of Hazzard" on a couple of those challenging obstacles, but was delighted to see that everything turned out well. Thank you both so much for taking the time to make such wonderful content! It inspires me to get out there. It's been a hard, depressing beginning to the year in our neck of the woods, but things are starting to take a turn for the better. So you two are just want the Doctor ordered! You'll have crossed over the Wye to start this adventure Simon. A lot of the water that makes up the river comes from the Cambrian Mountains, which you were in - the last wilderness of Wales. Top video as usual Simon. If you look at the video at 33.12 minutes where you are fording the larger river crossing, there is a gate in the fence. There is a Bothy 200 yards up the hill. Just follow the little stream and you would have seen it. Ah well, maybe next time. Handy for winter camp out. Top content. Keep it up

I bet Andy was glad you brought ya ladder 😜 Awesome hatch installation for the roof tent 👏🏻 Let’s Off road ! I always love a Fast Show reference ❤️ I notice you go for the Beavertown beers. I know my Spurs stadium has this on tap as Beavertown is a Tottenham based brewer. Just wondered if you knew that ? As always, your cinematography skills are outstanding.
