Simon, you’re so on point! A lot of nods over here. I get very “passionate” about thing’s especially when it’s wrong, but generally quiet and subdued (people generally see me as meek). Im independent and like to work alone or have my space. Feel like an outsider (maybe that’s my Rahu sitting in my ascendant) But I like being different... I’ve accepted it. The US via the CIA meddled in elections around the world and continue to this day! As you said, it is about imperial/colonial power. I have moon in Ardra (Pada 4) and I am incensed at the injustice and hypocrisy of politics and imperialism. I also had to leave my family, and moved across the ocean to escape what felt like the oppression of my mother. Jupiter in Mrigashira has helped me overcome the feeling of frustration and led me to help others find their purpose and lessen their suffering. 🙏🏻

That's a good question- depends a lot on your chart. Anything from counseling and professions that try to make the world a better place- to being a butcher. Ardra people are no strangers to intensity, so they can handle professions others would find repugnant. Their independent streak can lead them to being prospectors, park rangers, and other solo-oriented work. Long story short, it depends on the rest of your chart :))

Thanks Simon! It's a great video as always! I just checked Stellarium and was surprised to find my natal planets locations are based on my Sidereal chart! A couple of planets confused me as they were actually located in the middle between 2 signs and both my Tropical and Sidereal charts give locations that are completely different than the actual view I saw on Stellarium!

The sidereal chart is the only one that represents the sky as it was when you were born. Thus, Stellarium can only show you what was in your sidereal chart- sidereal means "based on the stars". The tropical zodiac does not represent the sky as it is today (maybe in the year 287 it did). That doesn't mean it doesn't work- it very much does! However, you cannot rely on the tropical zodiac to give you an accurate representation of the sky.

Wow this is so accurate!! I am shocked to hear some of that. I have Mercury (Asc) in Ardra. I live away from my parents and do have healthy disagreement with my mother. I also am always looking to do right things as it has consequences. Very unconventional from my family and have been able to use this to my progress. Best Ardra video for me on the internet! Honestly Simon you have become my favorite Jyotish channel on KZbin, something about the information you provide and how you do it, it just sticks. So thank you. I have a quick question though, you say, perhaps not in this video, that the Dasa lord does not define the characteristics of Nakshatra at all, which I totally understand, and most Nakshatra specialists seem to agree with. But is there any similarity between the nakshatras of the same dasa Lord? I cant get it out of my head that there is some similarity between them, maybe its coincidental? Like on Wikipedia it says that Vayu is also described as Rudra, Ardra and Svati, both with Dasa lord Rahu. Perhaps you can clear it up ?

No need to do so. Ancient Vedic mythology also uses 28 nakshatras. Simply use the fixed stars as anchors in the sky to help read the story of the chart

God our Creator doesn't like pride. He likes humbleness. I believe the word Create should only be associated with God because He Created everything out of nothing. Man can't create anything. Man can only use Gods Creation to place things together. Adam wasn't the first man. On the sixth day God Created man and blessed them to go forth and multiply.
