Non-stop gold lately. Great job Simon. If it would be possible, I think it would be great to get Sussane Bobzien on the show. She knows more than just about anyone about Stoic determinism and "what is up to us." Margaret Graver would be a great one too, she's a specialist in Stoic emotion.

Why am I interested in Stoicism? A) Because I listened to Mike Duncan's History of Rome Podcast, so many of the characters and settings are familiar. B) Because I have had cognitive behavior therapy to help recover from a brain injury, and Stoicism just seems like CBT for life. C) Because Ali Abdaal (youtuber) said it helped him. I then found Ryan Holiday's content, then dived deeper into other books.
