Beautiful and centered young women. Had she pushed through and hurt herself, they would still have criticized her. So many in our society see black woman as devoid of emotional feelings, sensitivity, and depth. It makes them easy targets for criticism.You are the GOAT Simone, and we applaud you.

I love Simone Biles and I watched her in Tokyo. I could see the pain in her eyes. Every time someone would call her a quitter I would say to him or her, so have you experienced being lost in the in the air? Can you do double and triple flips. I’m glad she’s back

Simon got herself a good man!❤ You did something never done before. You put your body and mind first. If you go back in gymnastics history there are a few other girls who should have done the same thing. They pushed to hard out of fear! Simone has balance with the love in her life and if Mama says it’s okay! Then it’s okay. There is more love then, Jealous haters. Unfortunately haters just have to make the most noise, for some reason!

There have been gymnasts who pushed themselves to the limit and injured themselves. Lets not forget Elena Mukhina, Julissa Gomez and so many others who injured themselves permanently and with some dying as a result. Spinal injuries will kill a career and kill the person if they don't have it all together when they compete. I'm glad she prioritized her health, and I'm glad she had those around her doing the same. Health is not worth a medal, and for those that love her, I'm sure they'd rather have her around than a medal or even medal attempt. It takes a lot of strength to know when to stand down. Her life and well being worth much more.

You are a strong woman and it takes a super power like yourself to endure so much in the pressure-cooker of gymnastics.

Gymnastics might be the most dangerous sport. The reason she got the negative comments isn’t because she stepped down it’s because she had the courage to talk about her mental health. It sparked a nerve in people who are hiding mental health issues. So proud of her for telling the truth and advocating for mental health.

She is the GOAT ♥️ a true legend 👏🏻 she deserves only the best in life, including the best husband which this guy is not. I hope she realizes that soon..

How do you know her husband isn’t a good husband, do you know him personally? And why do you care? If she’s happy, that’s all that should matter.
@AM-hv1vs5 ай бұрын
@@RollinwithAnita I dont know him but his words give him away. Im not sure if you watched his recent interview. Its clear that he does not value her as much as he should. He is a low ranked football player and she is literally the nost decorated athlete of all time and he calls himself 'the catch' in the relationship. When they asked him how he managed to pull her, instead of praising her as the goat that she is, he replied: the question is how she pulled me... And to top it off he said he didnt know who she was when they matched on a dating app. That is literally impossible, everyone has heard of her, especially athletes. And after the interview someone pulled his following on social media and found that he's been following the US womens gymnastics pages since 2012. He is a joke. And he does not deserve her. I just hope she doesnt have children with this man before she realizes that.

@@AM-hv1vs you hit the nail on the head, “you don’t know him”. You’re too invested in a relationship that has nothing to do with you. And what’s wrong with him considering himself a catch. Us women do it all the time. Why can’t you just wish them the best and keep it pushing rather than all the negativity. If she isn’t worried about it, you shouldn’t be. I hope you are putting this much energy into your own relationship.

@@RollinwithAnitaHe doesn't wish her the best. She is the GOAT. Now, if only she had a better husband who is proud of his wife instead of being a jealous type, then I can add her marriage to the list. It seems that women, especially black women, would always pick the loser who wants to knock her off her rightful pedestal.

@@RDCFemmes Elite gymnastics is rarely on broadcast television, so people do not follow women’s gymnastics until the Olympics. I have been a fan since 1972, but there were years I did not follow. Even today I find it difficult to find a broadcast on National or World Championship events. I must scour KZbin or other streaming service. I don’t see a football player watching gymnastics even during the Olympics. More people are aware of women’s gymnastics because of Simone, but generally the average American does not follow the sport. Ask anyone if they even know the difference between artistic and rhythmic gymnastics and you will get crickets. Ask your fellow gymnastics fans if they can name anyone competing in rhythmic gymnastics. Crickets. Most Americans recognize athletes who play football, basketball, or baseball, yet those sports are on broadcast television. How many of you will watch Olympic sports that you don’t follow any other time? Think ice skating, track and field, volleyball, or even obscure sports like fencing or equestrian events.
